I also thought that the hand cannon, chicago typewriter and infinite launcher were the best but turned out the PRL412 is much better than the 3 combined, one charged shot can decimate anything on screen including treaures, chests, anything that need to be shot at!

Actualy the handgun can be useful. Just shoot an enemy once in the leg he falls over and then you knife him to death. Simple as that.

Tbh I think the best gun is in fact the handgun...it's what you get used to using first, it's gonna be your main gun throughout your first few playthroughs and the ammo is the most commonly found throughout the game. You may as well become familiar with it, it is your trusty handgun :) thumbs up if you agree?

I havent unlocked all the wepons but so far I like the Infinite launcher cuz as u said i can kill ALMOST anything in 1 shot (altho it took at least 6 rockets to kill salazars "right hand" and thats on normal) and the chigago typewriter cuz u can go through the whole game with that one weapon

i tink the knife is the best. it doesnt have to be sharpened, reloaded or moved around to fit in the attache case. u can use it to defeat almost any enemy. u can suplex people when using the knife...sounds like a good deal

@supernoob86 Yes i do have advice, Leon i sthe hardest, his weopons are very slow. Basicly you will be using your shotgun 90% of the time. Rack up high combos with the shotgun.when it comes to Special Ganodos (such as JJ or Super salvador) Aim for the head! Wait till they jump up ladders or jump down from ledges to get a coulple shots off, Ada-Wesker-Krauser are easy :P

Ya know what, when you fight the Final Boss (PS2) and you're using the PRL-412, you don't even have to charge it and will kill him in one shot. I bet you don't need to recharge it because the Final Bosse's Plaga is giant so yeah.
