This is called "hypervigilance". I'm a little bit concerned here because it means she doesn't feel safe enough to allow herself to fall asleep. Might be the big ol dog nearby. We brought in a feral kitten and she was the same way for the first little while.

It was my friend doing filming my kitten and calling it by it's nickname Ronnie. Why? don't ask.... Thanks for the comment people. Cats are the best and believe it or not I have 5 kittens available in the UK here for free. Need to give them to good homes...
