I remember this attraction when it first opened at Universal Studios. They've improved on some of the effects (no exploding pier back then), but the presentation is still pretty much how I remember it. Thanks for posting this modern day look at the attraction.:-)

How come people are saying this LA shark is faker looking than Florida?! Have u seen the Florida shark? It's fibre glass with a shiny green paint job, wtf! Atleast this one had some more movement. i am going to the hollywood 1 in june and i have been to the florida 1 twice, from that video the florida 1 looks SO much better!! Also when you go on at night time (florida) it changes, we got SOAKED at night but during the day we got a small spray!!!!!

I think that, in general, the one in Florida is more dramatic, more realistic. It immerses you in a story more like the film, I think. More dynamic, as well.

Ummmm no. Actually it ISN'T real. At 0:57 you can see its skin wrinkled only in ONE spot, and at 0:10 - 0:11 you can see two holes!!!! You can see the RUBBER coming up from those holes!!!! If it even were real.... it would still probably snap at one point and eat somebody from doing the SAME routine ALL DAY LONG.... that water isn't even SALT WATER!!! I've never been to Hollywood, but from this video, I'd say Florida was better. My brother was so scared, and I got absolutely SOAKED! Plus, its more of an adventure in Florida, since you get in a boat, and the tour guide gets a gun to shoot it. Lol! But, this looks like the sorta tour where they take you through many films, so, I'd say its pretty good!
