After the success of our Free Fallin' cover MartonMusic has now tried covering one of our absolute favorite songs which is "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room", scootch on over to our channel to listen to us trying to make our childhood dream come true. All views / comments / ratings / subscribtions would make such a contribution it's unreal, thank you for even reading this!
20-30 years from now on, we will be showing kids videos like this of our generation's guitar god, just like our parents told us about Hendrix and SRV and all the other great blues players.
amazing guitar tone... this is one of the best guitar tones i've ever heard... the strat and the Two-Rock combo is superb. This mother fcker plays really good... and he's playing better and better....
Master Built Custom Shops are really overrated. If you get an American version they're all qualified workers anyway, so who cares if one "master" did it all himself? I've played a Master Built and an American Deluxe at the same time through the same amp with the same noiseless pickups, I could tell absolutely no difference other than the color of the finish. Just my opinion.
I could understand a sig model but that's about it.
I first saw him do those behind the nut bends on the Where the Light Is DVD... Took me FOREVER to learn to control the bends to sound the pitch I wanted, and to get it not to hurt... but it can be done... Good luck!!!
Nice try. The guitar John is playing in this video is a megabuck Fender Custom Shop relic built by the famous John Cruz who is the head honcho at Fenders Custom Shop. He built this guitar for John specifcally. John Cruz also built the Eddie Van Halen Frankestrat tribute guitar, the Yngwie Play Loud tribute, the Eric Clapton Blackie Tribute, etc. This is not the guitar he bought saving up as a kid working in a petrol by any means. It is an awesome relic though. Check out the Two Rock video
the guitar he bought as a kid was a stevie ray vaughan signature when he was 19 after 15 months working at a gas station. he also coincidently bought the guitar on SRV's birthday in 1996
no that isnt the first guitar he bought, the first he bought was a SRV strat, he even said on the any given thursday DVD commentary. the black one he is playing is a custom shop relic made by john cruz.
yep, the fender custom shop is just that good at making new guitars that look old, its a 60's style relic made within the last two or three years because it first appeared after continuum came out.
that guitar is a fender strat, that was john's first electric guitar, he saved up working at a petrol garage to buy it, it has been with him ever since.
I am addicted to gravity videos, every single performance is different and has something to offer. He killed it at crossroads, along with everyone else!!! Great video, thanks for posting it
Me too! I think I've played a variety these videos about 19 times. It's 2:47 am and I was suppose to be sleep over an hour ago, but I've been watching all his videos of this one song.
It is addictive!!! Gravity is pulling me! Help~ :)
bitch who said "I love you John" almost ruined the solo for me. Thankfully, I kinda phase out when he solos
