Honestly, even as an American myself, I'd rather listen to Korean rap/hip hop. It isn't all BS lyrics. Korean music has a lot of depth to their lyrics and it sounds good. What is there not to like?

the original song's lyric was so sad that i guess it made folks who understood his pain or been through the same as him wanted to suicide&so they did sooo dats why its known as the suicide song aha but its a good song. the later versions' lyrics made the song happier but the original was hella dark; deep shyt. ahah but anyways awesome performance!! :D
