what a sweet girl! i have five year old fraternal twins. one is autistic. i had him diagnosed at 17 months. i knew he was autistic b/c i was a special ed volunteer,so i refused to leave without a diagnosis and the number to"ECI"lol. he also has staring spells/seizures and g.i. issues. but he is verbal now, he can express "more juice,dvd,soy milk, etc." and is very echolalic .he wears a medical id bracelet. i think those are essential for children with autism because they wander.god bless!

I used to wear socks on my hands too! (I am autistic) It didn't matter whether the socks had been worn or not... or whether they were mine... I just liked the feel of them. If they were mine, the smell!

That was beautiful. I work in early childhood, with a special focus on children with on the Autism Spectrum...I love my work, wouldn't trade it for anything. I 100% liked your fix u video, I'm a Dad who just celebrated my daughters 5yr mark dealing with Autism. Some may take this the wrong way, some may think this is selfish to say, many of us Parents end up losing our careers, our future plans, our retirement fund, homes, and all those dear personal items and friends. I have a 6 year old nephew who was diagnosed with Autism finally at around 4 as well. he has never spoken and didn't walk until his 2nd b-day- our entire family was there to witness his first steps!!! Oh she is super cute....lol. My 2 year old was sat on my lap laughing her head off at her antics....lol. shes now running about repeating thank you over and over and laughing. Oh and socks on the hands are just the best. undies on the head is a favouret in my house...lol.

My boys (5) and (8) Say "thank you" ! I soooo agree with KillerofDolts Our children are so beautiful. We have a saying in our house. Every day is a new adventure. small achievements for a "typical" child is a HUGE party in our house! God bless you and your beautiful daughter.

I 100% liked your fix u video, I'm a Dad who just celebrated my daughters 5yr mark dealing with Autism. Some may take this the wrong way, some may think this is selfish to say, many of us Parents end up losing our careers, our future plans, our retirement fund, homes, and all those dear personal items and friends. Autism sounds like such a nice word doesn’t it?, not a big deal right?. , if your capable of helping someone, please do. If they say I'm ok, open your eyes and look around.

Thank you so much for posting both of these videos! I have 5 1/2 year old identical twin girls with Autism and both are essentially non-verbal. I identified so much with your words. I was in tears in the beginning, but by the end felt my motivation to fight renewed! I am forwarding the video to my husband so that he can see that he's not alone. BTW, Bianca is gorgeous and reminds me so much of my girls. They are also Divas!

I glanced away from the screen and about 1:50, when she said Thank you for the first time, I looked up and I had the same look on my face that you had. Super cute, thanks for sharing. I'm a high school Special Education teacher and I love my kids but these little ones are just so darn cute.

I loved your video and the "Fixing" Autism video. I have a 6 year old nephew who was diagnosed with Autism finally at around 4 as well. he has never spoken and didn't walk until his 2nd b-day- our entire family was there to witness his first steps!!! He is so special to all of us and your videos are so touching and I can say that our family shares the same sentiments!! I hope and dream and pray that advancements will be made to offer a brighter future for kids with autism and their families!!

Adorable!! Bianca's one happy girl. I love when you sang to her... "Please say Thank you." and she followed exactly. Music is non-linear and easier to process for autistic kids. Blessings! Thanks for sharing her with us. Your connection with her made me SMILE. :D
