  • @semiLivedj ha. I need to work on that.

  • epic snare sound man, real nice.

  • Triggered?

  • @Jeremiahbrooo No Sir : ) All original audio tracks and drum tones. I have another video that explains how I achieve my tones.

  • @norka99 Whooaa, then your set sounds good as hell, man.

  • @Jeremiahbrooo Thank you! : )

  • What kind of mic's do you use? sweet cover man!

  • @LukeSucksAtDrums kick- Shure Beta 52, snare- Shure sm-57, Toms- Audio Technica mbdk6's, Overheads- Audio technica 4040's.

  • sweet jams dude.

  • @repentorperish17 Thanks brother.

  • @norka99 Have you ever tried spreading your feet apart a little? That helped me alot.

  • @pandabords I have been playing for 10+ years. I've tried everything. I'm very comfortable with my technique and posture. Thanks though! : )

  • Snare sounds sweet man!

  • @Hooray4drums Thanks!

  • Spot on. Just a little sloppy with the double bass here and there but great job.

  • @SkateboardingFrank Ha, thanks. No excuse for the sloppy foot work. Guess I wasn't 100% for that session.

  • Dude your snare sounds freakin awesome!!! Good cover too man!

  • Is jealous of your mics and the great sound of your kit:D What is it?

  • @Skarific088 The kit? It's a Gretsch Catalina Birch.

  • @norka99 oh nice!

  • Nice cover man. Steve Carey is definitely hard to emulate. Would you recommend the snare (it sounds really nice)? I've been thinking about buying either a free floater or a mapex black panther. Any thoughts?

  • @Derock1209 I have only played a Black Panther once at a Guitar Center and I thought it sounded really damn good, but I didn't play around with the tuning. The Panther sounded great cranked really tight. My Pearl Free Floater sounds amazing no matter where I tune it. It is a very versatile snare which helps me since I'm constantly performing different styles of music. I have 4 snares, but I really only ever use my Free Floater. I LOVE IT!

  • @jakebruhh Thanks holmes.

  • very good

  • @donellexrachelle Thanks man.

  • You look incredibly squished in, and you also look like your have no fun. You can play the song, so now you can take it to the next level. Try to get into the song more.

It was pretty funny to see you resting your arm on your leg:p

  • @TheAnti1337 Ha. I never noticed I did that untill I read your comment. It's very hard to look comfortable playing a song like this. I just focus on the count of the beat.

  • is that like a marching band field drum snare? thats what it sounds like. aha

  • @jlbassplayer nope, Pearl Maple Free Floating snare. 14"x5.5

  • @jlbassplayer it doesn't sound like that at all..

  • Are you using the bass mic from the MK6 pack on the kick drum? If so how do you like it? Especially in a live setting? thx

  • @Zizzicut Yes, I am. I am very happy with it. With a little EQ and compression, I finally got my kick sounding good enough by itself without any sampling. I have yet to use it in a live performance yet, but I'm assuming it sounds fine. It picks up lows well enough.

  • you make it look so easy bro.....great cover and it sounds great

  • @mvhockey16 Thank you for the generous feedback! : )

  • What snare? and what heads?

  • @CSDtactical I use Remo ambassadors and Remo Control Dots.

  • Very nice! What's your snare? It sounds great!

  • @king94drummerboy my snare is a Pearl maple "Free Floater" 14"x6 w/ die cast hoops.

  • @norka99 Thanks!

  • dude your snare sound great!!!!! awesome job.

  • @helhelhinsinken Thanks. Snares are definitely tricky to get right.
