@planethelgan it is our brand only on my site. it is great quality and if we made it a big name brand and advertised it all over like Optimum we would never be able to sell it for what we do it would be 30% higher, so we are a direct form the lab source you wont find with any less middlemen and minimal mark up
I've been taking your advice and looking at the label and ingredients. It's ironic that the best proteins I've found ( as far as protein yield ). Have been the cheaper ones you can find at supermarkets or CVS. I did the calculation ( grams/grams per serving ) on the optimum nutrition 100% whey and got a yield of almost 80%. The label had 3-4 ingredients. Whey isolate, whey concentrate, peptides and flavoring. That's all. I would assume that you think this is one of the better ones out there ( n
@planethelgan it is an decent product at 80% i just dont like Optimum for reasons that go back to the 1990s when they started out they used to be oe of the companies Bill Phillips when he owned EAS and Muscle Media 2000. Optimum was one of the companies he used to bash for hardly ever meeting label claim and they got off the ground basically by screwing the consumer so i alway hold that against a company. but the best you can get we have a Bioplex Pure WPI that is 90% on oir site (cont)
@planethelgan or see our Supreme Whey it is almost a 80% and a 5 lbs is only $45 or so that is a great buy and a much better brand than Optimum thanks
Whats an average amount of cholesterol per serving of whey protein? I've been using the ON Gold Standard Natural Whey, which is 30mg (10% DV) per serving. Are there any you can suggest with lower amounts?
@bigbigblue111 any whey concentrate like the ON has high cholesterol. go to our site under PROTEINS and on the first page all of the ISOLATE proteins have zero cholesterol, like Sports one has a 2 lb for $23.95 it is also a 88% protein where ON is in the 70% range. also Bioplex Pure WPI and Biochem BioPure are great isolates as well thanks call us if you need help 800 848 2599
