As if venomfang accepts video responses. I've tried watching most of his videos but i've hardly ever finished one of them. I feel like my brain's being blended up and spooned out through my nostril every time i watch.

Just because something is good for your health, doesn't mean it's morally wrong. The people knew it through trail and error: as they thought bad things only happened to bad people, they thought god was punishing them with the disease for eating pork and wrote it in the bible.

1) To be honest, I can only speak for myself and so can you. You have posed a question neither of us can answer. But as such a religious person, speaking for myself. Now this isn't to say that they are too stupid to believe in some supernatural force legitimately or with a touch of reason and intelligence.. But when the person believes they know more than I because they read a book written by the very men they say are flawed as all hell I lose respect for that person. They do not have a developed sense of humanity, reality, morality ect. You cannot obtain these things through obvious falsehoods simply because some flawed humans wrote a flawed book.

3) No, because the purpose of creating us, giving us free will was to test us. God is not responsible for our actions, we are. Which is why hell exists for the truely evil. God is punishing us for our actions, not his. We are free in this world to do what we like, that is the test of this life, the reason for our being, to prove the goodness inside of us. One of his perfect qualities has to be perfect justice. Every good action rewarded, every bad punished.

Hell does exist, people will be punished for their actions. I cannot deny this. But the punishment will be fair. Also in Islam there is not the same hell as in Christianity or Judaism, it is not eternal. A person's stay in hell is proportional to the bad that they have commited.

All God tells us to do is be righteous people. Believing in him is the same as not lying, not stealing, not manipulating, being charitable, being forgiving and being just.

Most forms of judaism don't even seem to have a hell, they just obliterate sinners, which is slightly better than a short period of soul smelting in Hell, though Islamic Hell > Christian Hell by an infinite ammount :)

The question of why god allows them to commit bad acts is still open, when they could've been made just as free but without the desire to do evil. As all people's desires, thoughts and actions were determined by God when he made their souls and bodies He's really responsible.

Originally, Hell was not written in Jewish (and what later became Christian) texts as being an eternal punishment.

In fact, that aspect of Hell wasn't even canon until some time after the First Council of Nicaea.

Why does a perfect Being (who therefore knows everything incluing the future) need to test us? He knew what we'd do in the test before we even were created. If the test is meant to teach us something, he could've taught us something more efficiently (because he's omnipotent).

The belief in perfect justice is the cause of the belief that people who get diseases are all evil and deserve it. Which is also the reason the jews thought pork brought god's wroth.

The problem is that, if you have a creator god that is omniscient, the concept of free will goes out the window.

You see, an omniscient god already knows what you're going to do in every moment of your life. One cannot choose to NOT perform the actions that have been foreseen; saying it is possible to do so is saying that the god in question is not actually all-knowing.

Therefore, said omniscient entity choosing to punish people for doing what they were predestined to do anyway is unfair.

#2 If a child is born, and is immediately thrown into a dark box, they are beaten, raped, tortured, mutilated for 5 years of life until they are killed by this captor via starvation. So they've never left the box, know no language, have never heard of god and they die. Why does an all-loving and all-knowing god burn this person in fire (which is very painful, and pointless since they never knew anything but a box and so don't know why they are being burned) for all eternity?

2)Ultimately, God is the judge of this situation and you can't make his decision for him. Based on what I know, which hasn't been spread by a firebrand preacher intent on conversion. God says he is the judge at the end of days. He repeats himself many times that those that have done no wrong will have nothing to fear and that it is his responsibility to spread his message to the people of this world. Plainly, the only person going to hell here is the captor. Also, all kids go to heaven if dead.

If all kids go to heaven, surely the rational thing for any parent to do is to murder their children as soon as they leave the womb, so they'll guarantee their kids a place in heaven? The problem with strict laws is that you can always find a loop-hole somewhere to make a mockery of them.

Fun fact: even in the Bible, it states that "...I create good and evil; I, the Lord God, do all these things."

In the original Greek and Hebrew texts, it also makes Satan out to be a servant to God, sent to test humanity.

But then, it also states that God couldn't defeat an army for his people because they were in iron chariots. So, one has to decide whether to be a literalist or take the Bible as the parable-lesson it was originally meant to be.

In response to your question, yes, humans do have intelligence and dignity, anyone who says different is a fool.

However, we are not perfect, religion gives us a sense of what is right and wrong. Most of our modern ideas of right and wrong and legal systems are derived from religious jurisprudence. Religion has given us a lot, I try my best never to lie or to manipulate words for one reason, for God, even if it is also common sense, though most intelligent people still forget that.

Doesn't it make sense for ideas like "murder is bad" and "don't steal" make sense as survival traits? I mean, killing people is counter to the whole "survival of the species" thing, and stealing makes you a social outcast (thus lowering your chances of breeding and being part of the community).

I do believe that God exists, I do believe that he has in fact proved as much, indeed through science. With verses existing in the Qu'ran concerning the Big Bang, the expansion of the universe and even evolution.
