    First off I would isolate your muscle groups if you're not already. I would start with a chest and shoulder day, then a back and arms day (biceps/triceps). Aim for 3-4 sets of 8-10 reps per set. Focus of form not weight!! This will help your muscles build faster. Also, focus on your bodyfat % not the scale. At 12-16% you will see most of your muscles, and you will need to be around 6-8% to see a full 6 pack. Workout for 2 days and rest for two then start again.

  • @malmsteen2002 Not a personal attack at all here mate, just a difference of opinion. My training is based on weights and nutrition, I do 3 cardio sessions a week, each one is 20 minutes, and they're high intensity interval training. To be honest, I find that about 70 to 80% of the changes in my body come from nutrition, obviously weights are the stimulus fro new growth and 'sculpting', and cardio can (when done the correct way), assist with fat loss, without losing lean weight.

I am not a very fit guy, but i started running about 2 months ago... and i still pant like a dog after 10 minutes (talking about high intensity cardio here). Seems to me like 10 minutes is my plateau. I can do slow cardio for half an hour, but heck this high intensity interval running is giving me headaches, i can't seem to improve.

  • @kshitiz06 Nutrition is about 80% of the results you will see. I can do cardio and lift every day of the week, but I am carb sensitive. I won't get really cut if I continue downing the carbs. You just have to find out how your body responds to the different nutrients you put into it.

  • Quite literally, you are what you eat. If you don't eat a fitness models or bodybuilders diet, you won't get the desired body that you want. When he's talking about cardio, he means aerobic cardio training (getting oxygen to your muscle to burn fat), when combined with a plan of your body type, you are UNSTOPPABLE!! :D look up this guy named Tom Venuto to see what I'm talking about. I would HIGHLY recommend his book Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle. Its THE fat loss bible!

  • If these guys didn't have those bodies they'd be depressed and insecure. All the muscles do is hide their fragile ego and insecurity. While being unhealthy is not good for you, you need to be happy and confident with yourself first no matter how you look and then other things will fall into place. Train to be healthy and strong, all other reasons of working out are shallow. Besides those bodies won't last forever. What will Vince if (when) he grows old?

  • @cryptusak Well just look at jack lalanne. You can be fit and muscular into old age. Only when you get to 80s,90s do you really lose the ability to maintain a decent physique. And by then you've lost the ability to do pretty much everything. You don't just lose muscle mass, but also brain functionality. Just because when you get old you might lose your memory doesn't mean you shouldn't bother learning things while you're young.

    weight lifting is also considered a cardiovascular workout which could be apart of his stats

    diet is definitely the most important though, you can work out for like 8 hours a day, eat 6 large big mac meals and you would see very minimal change

    People have to remember that everyones genetics are different and its just easier for some people than others to get the results.

  • awesome news! I have been doing P90X for a long time and I have had wonderful results especially with Ab Ripper X. In certain light I can really make out the progress. I was recently told to add weights to build abdominal size to help fill the void between skin and muscle. I work the entire abdominal area and I eat very well too. I will keep pushing play every day and I will try to add some weights to the mix.

  • thats great man.. but the problem is that i will never look SKINNY anymore.. but then not like i want to.. i've been putting on muscle so.. the muscle takes place of the fat and then the excess skin comes into play again.. so its kind of good if u have it.. i guess it makes me do more weight training.. keep it going man.. good luck

  • I'll take a stab at it - though the skin is naturally very elastic, after you lose a lot of weight, some of that stretchiness is lost.You have 2 options: 1) Replace the lost fat with muscle while following a healthy eating plan; this will tighten the skin to a degree or 2) Use special skin creams or consider Body Contouring Surgery to remove the excess skin - I normally don't support surgery, but losing too much weight too fast often leaves you no choice since the skin couldn't adapt. Good luck!

  • I was eating organic for about 2 years but unless you want to live in a cardboard box or improve your circumstances in the job market with a better salary, then eating organic is about as realistic as the Bible.

  • 30 lb in one month.... no way that was all healthy weight loss. It's impossible to lose a pound of pure fat per day for 30 days straight. If what you say is true you probably lost some fat, some lean mass, and some water weight for the final weigh in.
