  • gonna hurt :|

  • Are tattoos THAT painful???

  • @iamKAYLA133 naw well depending on who doing it some that do know what there doing it will make it less paintfull

  • Sack your cameraman he on the wrong side of you, but everything else was great

  • tattooing tips on youtube are ok - some suck but some are really good - this dude had some decent tips in my opinion - ive been tattooing for 5 years and still look where i can get some cool tips here and there - the best tip i got on youtube was to keep candy around...........when your client is starting to complain about the pain - give him/her some candy, that will help their blood sugar level and they will feel better - letting you finish the job.... it works!

  • @giliegil And now is one of my favorite tips. Thanks.

  • I dont like the designee but you work so nice :)

  • I'd like to have seen a better video angle at the tip of the gun, to get a better look at technique, but the video was informative

  • New to tattooing, Have some questions, if anyone can help without calling me a dumbass, please email me.

  • I need this guys email.. have serious questions that nobody will answer for me.

  • As someone with kids at home, I don't have the HOURS to spend in a shop working for free. My husband and my son both wanted tribal tats but couldn't afford the price at a professional shop, All the tattoo artists around here have such big ego's they wouldn't tell me anything about doing a tattoo, I had to learn from YouTube and a bunch of practice skin... I don't plan on making it a career but this guy was wonderful to take the time and explain how things work which others keep such a secret.

  • @maitland4u i have an idea dont get tribal its gay.

  • Gościu chyba się uczy dziargać ;)

  • Ugly fuckin tattoo

  • Okay forreal, FUCK UP. all of you. yall bunchaa HATERRRRRRS. lemmie tell u how ur all holding a pen an paper, takin notes while shit talkin him. LMAO grow balls. Criticizing isnt gunna get u anywhere u bums. dnt watch his shit if u dnt like how he does work. dumb fucks. real talk. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK HUN, UR DOING AN AMAZING JOB. DUCESSSS MOTHAAFUCKKKAAAASS <3 <3 <3

  • Keep up the great work and God bless!!!

  • justinchrist762, I just want to say that I know this artist and he has a customer base that only people in the business could dream of. So your unfounded criticism tells me one thing about you right off the bat. You have a lot to learn, so shut up and learn something!

  • bleeding is individualy you cant say hes tearing it becaus of the bleeding. im rly rly new to this and even i know that. whats this guys name? ive heard he made other movies i can se matthew but i cant make out the last bit thx

  • between 450 and 5 minutes just look at the blood oozing out,hes meating that skin up

  • a 7 mag for that tattoo are you kidding me,that tattoo is that big for a mag .that dudes arm is so tore up already

  • wtf, are you talkin about?! you are totaly wreck his skin! where have you been learning to tattoo?

my mom knows more of tattooing than you, and my mom hates tattoos!

If someone did a tattoo that looks like this one does in the shop I work at, they would be fired the same day, no joke. Not to mention the cross-contamination involved. Everyone has to start somewhere, but if you want to teach people how to do something you must first KNOW how to do it. This guy should still be learning!

  • @benskate96skaar, I have a question for you. WTF are you talking about?

What are you, some kind of Dip Shit?

  • I hate how the artist never asks for the customer's input on the color..and why risk having choppy shades of black by diluting? get a $25 set of Black Buddha grey wash ink, or put black ink in white.

  • this guy is a bad artist with no feel or heart for what he is doing. try shuting the fuck up and work and concentrate you fuckn idiot. were i come from this guy would be in a whole world of hurrt if he pulled this crap off on anyone. PLEASE ALL YOU PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LEARN, WATCH THIS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO. avoid wrecking peoples skin.

  • Fuck he has worked re worked and overworked the bottom portion so so bad. I would lay my life down that this guy scabbed like hell. (BTW I am inked over 60% of my body, and am an artist of 19 yrs)

  • @BeccaGSD yea i know ,and hes using a mag on that tattoo ,messing that skin up left and right

  • @BeccaGSD, for an artist that's been in the business for 19 years, as you say, and you admit that you are walking comic book, you really don't know what the hell you're talking about. I've seen this work after it was completed, and the customer who brought along friends, were all very impressed. As was I. This artist is one of the most well respected professional in the business! So, my suggestion to you is go get your eyes examined, and while you're at it, your head as well.

  • Didn't know everyone was so perfect.

  • @tinarozz ....uuum, in the tattooing business you kindof have to be.

  • learn how to make tattoo before you gonna learn somebody else you stupid asshole

  • The video is out of sync with the audio, he is cutting off the power AFTER he pull's the needle out of his skin.

  • You wouldn't have to "straighten lines" if you did straight lines from the first place. Your China machine sucks balls. It's not tuned properly and it's running like sh*t! And what kind of crappy design is that anyway? It's really, really bad!!

  • Yeah this video concerns me...

  • this is the easiest i spy the fuck-ups game i ever done.

  • people hate tattoos that are not done at a shop because they think they are the be all end all tattoos have been about for 1000s of years done by tribe men with soot and bamboo. the tat shop people hate that there secrets have been blown and cant fuck you over for $100 an hour

  • Everytime he cuts the voltage to his machine while the needle is still embedded in that poor guy's skin, I wince.

  • Yeah not only is it bad work its a stupid tattoo...it dont even fit his fat ass arm.

  • ur lame guy are u from arkansaa

  • ur lame guy

  • seriously your machine sounds like its definately not set up rught and also you never are supposed to let off the pedal while still in the skin. learn how to tattoo before you teach buddy

  • @tauntonsbest In response to your comment, The video is out of sync with the audio....

  • idk i thought the videos were pretty good but then i'm 13 years old & just barely learning about the tattoo industry hoping one day i can become a wicked tatto artist (wicked as in great)

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCKITY FUCK FUCK LOL

  • I think this was a very cool video!!!! I just started tattooing and I just got a small apprenticeship....it was very informative!! So shut the fuck up all you haters!!! your just jealous!!!!

  • Stopppp hatin i believe he know wat he doin

  • ur a lame mother fuck dude right now it looks kind of cheezy dude ur a beginner fag ur lame dont recomend anything to a real artist ur just nott!!!!guy tell that guy ill cover that with pleasure!!! so fade out paint brush man u wouldnt last a dat in L.A. koooook!!!

  • theres always people who are going to complain if you dont like what he is doing dont watch ...

  • Fck that..poor guy getting the tattoo..lol

  • Wow! Love your intuitive instructional video on how (not) to tattoo! I learned a whole lot just by watching all 5 of these videos! Thanks for helping shit on our industry...

  • WE GOT A BLEEDER!!

  • Man I would not let you anywhere near me with a tattoo gun.. You are leaving the needle in the skin after you take your foot off the pedal which is a big no no. but other than that yea your a good tattooist :)

  • This is the most Crap tastic video!!! You have no Idea what you are talking about. My Daughter tattoos better than you!

  • @CriminalPan Exactlly... I know this for a fact... I won't diss any of the show eighter, but there are people who are 100 times better at them conventions and faster too... Check out this cat on facebook... Beleave me if you want to see a true profeshional you'll look him up... danielrochatat2 on facebook this dude just won all first place at the Losangelas convention this year in three differant catigories...

  • blow out city. What a hack job..... poor guy

  • everything you say is a

load of crap and you don,t know shit ,

this tattoo looks already like shit when it healed it really looks like shit !!

show us a picture from it so we can see how it looks now !!

  • you reallllly need to get better camera angles i cant see anything your doing

  • @weebobmarley yes you can its crap

  • Your tattoos look horrible...don't quit your day job .

  • What's the point of holding a paper towel in your hand when you use your finger to wipe it off... Learn to always wipe it with the paper towel, fuck.

  • and again... more dislike comments then like comments but way more likes than dislikes

  • shitty !!

  • i have a crap load of tatt's and as much as i hate to be crticle of ppl doing demo's to help others . i honestly think this guy isnt a pro tattooist , and thats all im gonna say. cos i think most of you have made the obvious comments that come to my mind .....one thing i will say tho. if you are a beginner or want to start learning tattoo's b4 you ruin someones skin . you can buy practice skins from tattoo suppliers .. or even go to a butcher and buy pig skin ( pork belly ) would be ideal ..

  • i seriously hope he isnt charging this guy by the hour lol ....

  • Wow, you are going to get someone so sick. Your technique and work, technically, are up for interpretation, so I will not give my opinion on that. The facts are that you are filthy.

  • You said "don't use speed stick due to cross contamination" I agree, then you TOUCH his skin with the detol bottle! You touch your machine with bloody gloves, you don't bag your machine or bag your clip cord properly, you rub the DICKENS outta the poor guy, and, even though the camera didn't follow, I am pretty sure you poured you're ink for greywash whilst not changing your gloves. You are f@@king scary.

  • "And this is going to give a misconception to your customer that they are bleeding real bad and they are actually, reason why it looks like that, whenever you are doing normal color its gonna cover up the blood. Well with this its lightly diluted, its gonna bring out more blood than ink in the skin." Wtf, this guy sounds retarded.

  • I learnt a fair bit from this. One criticism though - after 3 minutes in contact with vaseline latex gloves are no longer a barrier to bacteria and viruses. Latex free gloves are better, but still break down to the point of being useless after 20 minutes max.

  • wow people are easy to criticize. I wanna see yall put a video on line and teach other people how to tattoo.

  • @FUUNNIIEEE why would we want to teach u?

  • @FUUNNIIEEE you can,t learn how to tattoo by watching crappy videos !!!

  • @FUUNNIIEEE easy to criticise because the work is garbage, look at it, not a straight line anywhere, i been tattooing 25 years and no way would i put a "how to" video up, no way i be giving away hard earned tricks of the trade. tribal urge tattoo studio australia, facebook look it up and check out some real tattooing.

  • @FUUNNIIEEE people are easy to criticise because this example is garbage. i taught myslef from watching, took me years to get in the industry back in the day 1987, i wont be giving that hard earned info away on youtube, this is NOT the place to learn how to do it. wanna see good tattooing? harley kirkwood facebook, he works in my studio, i know what i`m talking about, you dont.

  • If someone did a tattoo that looks like this one does in the shop I work at, they would be fired the same day, no joke. Not to mention the cross-contamination involved. Everyone has to start somewhere, but if you want to teach people how to do something you must first KNOW how to do it. This guy should still be learning, not teaching.

He should leave the tutorials to someone who knows what they're doing. Then he should watch them and learn how to tattoo right.

  • @justinchrist762 You mean, "How to tattoo properly." I'm sure he's better than you anyways.

  • @justinchrist762 please explain what he did wrong?

  • @sydo It would be wayyyyy shorter to explain what he did right.

  • this dude needs his hands broken.

  • I just can't shake the fact that I feel like the needle is dragging across this poor dudes skin :(

  • who originally drew that ??? a 3rd grader

  • I cannot believe this guy, he has rubbed his watch and wrist band on a fresh wound, notice I did not call that a tattoo. How about calling this a "How not to video"! He talks about charging people for that, he is the one who should be charged for assault causing bodily harm.

  • What Ink did you use? does it realy stay Black?

  • Holy shit fucking stop rubbing your fingers all over the damn tattoo. I hate it when people just rubb their hands all over the UNFINISHED tattoo. its annoying

  • you have no idea what you are doing do ya?...design is horrible, application is worse..lining is clown shoes. i hope this poor sumbitch didnt pay you

  • wow this sucks maybe an apprenticeship would be better

  • You know, for all the negative I've read the positive needs to be said, would YOU be willing to "teach the sacred art" Give me a break! You didn't learn the "sacred art of riding a bike" with out someone giving you pointers, He's doing great showing "pointers" he already said this tat is NOT for Scratchers.. Or did you not read that?? Whatever, I like the videos, V E R Y informative. Better yet, you think YOU can do better? prove it, "teach us" YOUR way. Or is THAT too sacred?

  • @tickerlock I find it highly ironic that he says "this tattoo is not for scratchers" but HE is doing it.

  • @tickerlock your comment needs to be in "Top Comments" rather than the other ones i've read. people need to get it in their heads that when you get tattoos, stuff like that is going to happen you will feel pain because they should think about it its a NEEDLE constantly grinding into your skin while the design is being drawn.

  • @tickerlock .but this dude is in no position to teach, thats the irony

  • Comment removed

  • Maybe you shouldn't rub the tattoo with your fingers every second... it's really irritating on top of the damage youre already doing. and speed doesn't mean good work, but solid linework does, and your shit suuuuuucks. You should NOT be teaching this, let alone teaching it online. What are you thinking? It's supposed to be a sacred art.

  • Too much blood bro , a dime deep is plenty and less then that is even better, if u see blood like that stop and make less needle go in , little dots here and there is the most u should see, i dont like blood , shows a biger scab will be there

  • @Headshothorror4488 Yeah dude I totally agree with you on the needle settings... Thats what I was tought a dime size deep is all on liner and shader...

  • @Headshothorror4488 Yeah dude I totally agree with you on the needle settings... Thats what I was tought a dime size deep is all on liner and shader...

  • i think hes going to wayyy to deep

  • I may be a newbie at the art of tattoo but with all of my studying and practice I can see many issues for this dudes customers. He is over working many areas and this can lead to excessive scarring and blowouts on clean lines. I am all for learning and he has a few good tips...a shame his work is so flawed as it is dudes like this that get people like me labelled a scratcher!

  • a work in progress should look good at any given point in time

  • @americanzero582 not really true at all. In many cases art peices (painting drawing design) don't come together untill you put the final pieces into place. Please before trying bring someone down atleast research what you're talking about.

  • @SASirotak Its an opinion. No research needed, but Im certain I know a lot more about art and what looks good. as far as tattoos starting with a stencil, you apply a final outline drawing instantly so theres not really much progress besides shading that defers me from stating the obvious that this tattoo does not look good as a final product.

  • @americanzero582 Personally I would never get this tatto or any tribal peice on me because I don't like them. But as far as the actual design I think for all of the intricacies and long curved lines he did a good job on the peice and that it came out as well as it really could have given its basic design. Do I think tribal tats look good? fuck no! but I still think given the material it came out well....

  • @SASirotak I just think it was a poor decision all around.

  • @americanzero582 yeah... plus a good tribal piece if you can call them that is a solid fill. but eh w.e I wont ever get one so I wont ever pick my artist by them

  • I still havent figured out why people want tribal.

  • learn how to draw first

  • has he got a fetish about rubbing the tattoo ? in every clip hes been rubbing it :S i dont do that when im tattooing

  • Holy crap this is horrible work, lol

  • your videos are great, u keep it simple and proper!! keep up the good work buddy, uve learnt me a good few tips

  • Is this guy serious? Maybe you should take some lessons before you try and give them!

  • what kind of massacre !!! honestly, I wouldnt like to be a client of this guy . . . there is not even one line which is straight and made correctly.

THIS GUY DOESNT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TATTOOING . . .

DONT TRY THIS AT HOME OR FOR LEARNING HOW TO DO TATTOO´S!!!!

  • @siciliagabber May I ask you, how or where should one go to learn how to tattoo?

  • @Lavidicus6 Be an aprintist in a good shop where there are profeshional artist, not scratchers... Just because some people have the money to get a ocupational license and open up their own shop don't make them profeshionals... But thats the best way is to be an aprintist first... That way you learn from the ground up... Starting with good house cleaning tecniches and proper steralisation, also learning the right way not to cross contaminate any thing or any one...

  • @Lavidicus6 find a decent artist, get tattooed in places you can watch, thats how i ntaught myself

  • excellent video 5/5 really helpful

  • it's a descent tutorial--very informative-but the camera work is just terrible.......you'd think he'd spin around and actually show you him tattooing---all you can see is his hands in front of the camera until he pulls away and wipes the skin. i really think the camera sould move for something like this. it would be much more helpful if we could actually see what he is doing rather than just hearing him talk about it.

  • does anyone know what needle he is using?

  • @CrazyDe14 A 7mag

  • @CrazyDe14

    for lining 5rl (r=round l= liner)

for shading 7 magnum (magnum are needles that are placed in a straight line 4 above 3 down i think)

  • @CrazyDe14 He's using a 7 straight mag as mentioned, but there are differant kinds of mag needles...

Theres stright ones, stacked ones and curved ones... You can get them with differant amounts of needle groupings... The size depends on what kind of effect you want to get and also depends on the size of the tattoo your doin...All give you differant shading affects if used properly... Hope this helps you.

  • why does he keep taking is foot of the foot switch b4 he takes the needles out, thats not good,,,,plus u should never use just ur fingers to take the p,jelly out of the tub!!!!!

  • actually it's a sound delay in the video.

  • @ponochino No he's releasing the foot switch before pulling out of the skin... I saw it too, it's not a delay in the video... Just another bad practice he has thats not a good thing to do...

  • why does he keep taking is foot of the foot switch b4 he takes the needles out, thats not good,,,,plus u should never use just ur fingers to take the p,jelly out of the tub!!!!!

  • how do i do solid colour work with a 13 mag finding it hard

  • @rippergripper im no expert but the power should be higher to drive the needles in cos its more needles

or even have a 12 wrap coil

    (still a beginner)

  • I really like this video.. I dont do everything the same but its really a good start point, most of the people on here stating its bad truly have no clue what the world they are talking about very easy to be a critict when its not your work being displayed!

  • Truly this tattoo looks good lets see your work, Mr Booth! Easy to be you sit back on your computer and be a critiict
