Ну, погоди! is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. I'm not Russian and I didn't grow up with it—I'm just a student of the language. But something about the way the animation moves, the way the characters are drawn, just connected with me, and I can never look away when I start watching it. Maybe because it's familiar, but a bit strange, a bit Soviet. It fills me with a sort of longing. Seeing it in the "Replica" video was a trip. Thanks Daniel.
