I can't remember if it was project zero, but it was some girl who lost her brother. And she followed him to this creepy ass house and found his camera, and you needed to do what your pretty much doing. Take photos of ghosts. I was to terrified to play it as I was like... Seven or eight at the time maybe.

@CyberFishy4 It was called 'project zero' in Europe. its known as "Fatal Frame" in America. Its originally called "Zero" in Japan.
