Trombonist/vocalist Jack Teagarden was certainly an all-time great, right up there close to Louis Armstrong. It was a real honor to get to do an album with him. Van Alexander was the conductor/ arranger. Besides myself on piano, some of the other musicians were: Charlie Teagarden on trumpet., Gus Bivona on clarinet, Eddie Miller on tenor sax and Nick Fatool, drums.
