There are 2 main ways to obtain one of these trucks. The first option is to build it yourself and the other way is to purchase a prebuilt truck, which may or may not be used depending on who had the truck previously.
I started with the stock Tamiya Clod Buster kit and then upgraded my trucks with aftermarket chassis kits, electronics, etc. I think Tamiya offers the gear boxes separately, which is essentially all you'll need from the stock kit.
