I'm not sure what you mean by your question, but Focus on the Family is an organization that was founded by James Dobson. The organization is dedicated to preserving family values.

Actually I would say this version is the closest to the book. The book is my favorite version obviously, but I've also seen the musical 3 times and own two different movie versions. I love anything Les Miz, but I do have to say this adaptation is much more close to the book than the musical or the movies are. Now it doesn't go into as much detail with Marius and Cosette, but neither does the musical. Fantine's storyline could be fleshed out more, but it's good.

But basically your question implies that there is vulgar stuff to take out. While Les Miz deals with tough issues (Fantine's prostitution/past, Cosette's past, etc), Victor Hugo does not focus in on the actual gritty details. I would say the musical and film adaptation do this much more than Victor Hugo ever did with his novel. Hugo focuses mainly on the inner struggles of his characters. (If you haven't read the book, do so 'cause it's amazing =)
