Hi Anette, I just wanted to hear your beautiful song once again, this tribute to your mother. It is a very moving performance and you look great in the vid. Greetings from USA, -Ron
Ich dachte, ich hätte schon mal kommentiert. Muß mir mal angewöhnen, auf das gelbe Kästchen zu achten. Schöner Text und einwandfrei schöne Melodie, wie immer gekonnt vorgetragen. Klasse.
@marycigarettes Hallo marycigarettes, I appreciate it very much that you listened to my song because you are a very professional musician. I try to be authentic in my songs and I only write a song when I feel that I have something to tell.
@rhopen Thank you Ron very much for listening again. It is good to have you as a true friend who always takes notice to my activities.Have a great Sunday.
Oh Nette... Was ein Text... Gänsehaut pur... Naja - Du hast da was verarbeitet... Die Sehnsucht zum Meer bleibt mir auch... Aber ich darf vielleicht morgen wieder hin... Oh Mann - es lebe das Leben! Danke!
@MartinRaetzJr Danke, lieber Martin. Ja richtig, Gerd hat mich dazu gebracht dieses Lied zu schreiben. Es ist nicht das erste, das ich für ihn gemacht habe.
@onewomanandsomesongs Hallo Janet, thank you very much about your very kind words to my song. I appreciate them very much. I hope you are fine. In Berlin we have fall now.
Bowed Psaltery Rocks Anette. Your original songs are just like the old folk songs in my mind as I don't understand German though of course english is Germanic...all related to Hindi, Farsi and the other indo-european languages too...but I digress:)
this is simply lovely and the innocence in the lyric is your own. Do you have a direct channel to your inner child or what I wonder? Jung might say you channel an archetype when you play.
@CurtisMateer Hallo Pete, to be honest I don´t know very much about Jung´s theories. I should inform myself. But maybe I never forgot my childhood and youth. And with the bowed psaltery you are right. It is a very interesting instrument. I begin to practise on it now.
How wonderful, Anette - you made me cry with your very touching story and performance. I'm happy for you that you have that memory of the beautiful day at the beach with your mom and your husband, and this song to commenorate it. Best wishes.
@ImOfTheWoods Hallo Sylvia, this song was an important one for me. All these memories came back to me last summer when I saw the sea again with my husband after a long time. I know what a hold I have in him, and that he always had been this way.
Thank you so much for listening. Have a great Sunday,-
This is beautiful Anette! Thanks so much for writing the lyrics down for us..what a wonderful memory to treasure!! The web cam looks very clear!! Thanks for sharing with us..Lovely song!!! *****
@Cameragirl803 Dear Jane, thank you so much for listening to my song and reading my translation. I always try to make it as good as possible. Ok I agree, the webcam turned out not so bad in the end. But I only can record one camera angle. And I had to turn around my PC-table because the light came from one side and this looked just terrible. But I have a new camera now, a small Canon again :-)
Hi Anette. You have a special gift for creating beautiful music. -and your softly spoken story of one sweet trip to the water with family, people you love. Your music validates that moment and, indeed, our lives. Incidentally, I've ridden in an East German car... and I felt lucky too to arrive OK ;-) All the best my friend, Karl
@karlmahlmann Hallo Karl, oh you have ridden in an East German car? Have you every been in in Germany?
Thank you very much for your friendly words to my songwriting. I only write a song when I want to tell something. And this story was important for me.
All the best for you too. Very nice greetings from your Berlin friend,-
@TanteA Yes Anette I love Germany - such a beautiful country. -and my brother lives in Austria. Years ago, a friend took us for a ride in his East German car - and we all survived :-) Very best regards, my friend - Karl
Hi Anette, I think the audio is much better now. I hear things I didn't before. But, perhaps that was because of the liter of wine I was finishing the first time :))). Anyway, I love this song and I will listen to it if you upload it a thousand more times. You are my favorite song writer.
@13crickets Hi Ron, no haha it was not the vine´s fault. The audio was just not loud enough. I noticed it too late, and then I decided to make a new upload.
Thank you very much for your very nice compliment about my songwriting. This means a lot for me.
@rhopen Hi Ron, thank you so much for your kind comment. It was an important song for me. I´m looking forward to your new one now. I know it will become a very beautiful one.
@jessatilley Hallo Jessica, thank you so much for listening to my new song. I needed one year to record it with the right feel. I wanted the sunbeam to come out in this little story.
@FrankRMusic Dankeschön, lieber Frank. Der Trabi war übrigens lindgrün... und wenn er mal gemuckert hat, konnten wir ihn noch selber reparieren :-)) Those were the days...
I had a client lose her mother a few weeks ago. She tells me that her mom's last words were "I had a really good time." I hope to be able to say that myself.
@Oswlek Hi Justin and thank you for listening to my song. I think a bit it depends a bit on ourself and a bit it depends on the circumstances around us. But.... mostly it depends on how we look at things. This is my opinion. I always try to see the light in the dark.
