For Travolta fans, he first appears at 18:46. You're welcome :-) Such a bittersweet tale here, both on and off-screen. Nothing against Kelly Preston and the family life he's made for myself now, but it seems this lady, Diana Hyland (playing his mother), was the first real love of his life. I remember their pictures in the gossip mags back then, so totally happy and in love with each other. She died in his arms (from cancer) just six months later. Kind of a cheesy flick, but great flashback.

For 1970's made for TV cheese, this has some very moving scenes. I remember seeing it as a teenager on TV in 1978, and I sobbed at the end.

I never even knew this film existed, this is obviously where the makers of Bubble Boy, starring Jake Gyllenhall, ripped off their story!
