Sin duda las holandesas para este genero lo saben hacer muy bien; quien diga q no, es física envidia (bueno sin contar algunas filandesas). Why is that drumming so stodgy/uninventive on so many of these numbers? It's not a good sign and contributes to the overall 'ordinariness' of all the material I've heard so far. Also the vocal lines are full of musical clishes used time and time and time again not just by tis band but by mnay others. The instrumental section from 2.46 - 3.36 is tediom personified (I nodded off in it - like the bloke on the video)

Everytime I hear this song, I think of Ted Bundy. An American serialkiller in the late 70's. I was watching clips on youtube about him and at the same time I discovered Delain. It's horrible what that man did, but at the same time I find it horrible that people get the elektric chair as a punishment! It does happen, people just wait for their deaht and walk towards their doom. Horrible....

But I do like this song!

What's this talk of Nightwish? lol I think Charlotte's voice is very unique and VERY unlike Tarja's operatic voice in NW. The only thing Delain has in common with them is they both have the symphonic and metal qualities in the music. *shrug* so no talk of them being like them. lol I love both Delain and NW because they aren't exactly alike! @EmilytheStrange34 Marco Hietala - band member/singer of Nightwish - plays & sings in several of Delain's songs - Control the Storm & No Compliance are 2 songs. So saying that the only thing the bands have in common are the qualities of their music is just not true. You might with to do some more research before posting a comment like that. NO ONE has a voice quite like Tarja's, but in terms of female metal singers, Charlotte is one of the best ones and I think Delain is awesome! :D

This is such a great band. They're just a baby band and still I already prefer some of their songs to the great veterans. It's hard to pick which is my favorite song. The Gathering is so seductive with Marco's voice, No Compliance is so energetic, Day for Ghosts is plain gorgeous, and Sleepwalker's Dream is I don't know. It's just damn good.
