I love "air traffic controller", too. It's so hard to appreciate and admire someone's work so much, and yet, want to throw him in a creek for making me laugh so much. It's such a conflict of emotions.

I can't believe I finally got to see a video of you in person, albeit 1986, but still! I'm such a fan! That voice of yours has literally put me to sleep before (the voice, not the content) and relaxes me every time I hear it, as well as cracked me up, of course, and now it gets matched up with the face.
BTW, I loved the ending after the jump. Classic Lileks.

Also, late at night in bed with his girlfriend, while the Star Spangled Banner plays from the flickering TV. Does anyone still remember when broadcast TV ended around 2am and then they played the national anthem? Seems like a century ago.
