i know they drum different ways and i know they can be fast, but they have to understand that there is a certin pattern, and the drumming has to go with the lion danceing, so if the drum is fast the lion has to be fast too.
well u should not even be frestyleing when u are doing a show, and if you do want to "freestyle" it at least go with the lion dance, thats y its call lion dance not chinese drumming.

Different groups drum different ways, it can be fast if they want it to be.

well, if you were free styling what beats would yu play?....... how can you make up a beat to freestyling.. you just play anything basically.
