The reason is that Life magazine purchase ALL RIGHTS to the film. In their next weekly issue following the assassination they published 31 frames of the film and more in subsequent issues. There was nothing sinister about the film not being shown as a motion picture...the reason Rather saw it at all was Zapruder was taking bids on who to sell it to!!! Had a TV news organization like CBS purchased it, it WOULD have been shown in motion picutre form.
3:10 he is wrong about the Zapruder film. It was in fact shown on TV before 1975 albeit only to a small audience on a local TV staion either in Dallas or New Orleans (can't remember) aired it in the late sixties when Jim Garrison was having his trial against Clay Shaw.
no doubt .....the MOST IMPORTANT American film from decades !!!!!! Why do we have to wait so long to get it !!! for teaching the truth to younger generations ? Thanks for the Roger Craig ,Mark Lane , Josiah Tomphson ....
