No, Darkheart21167, BBC were stalling David Tennant's departure statement as you now know. He will not be in Series 5. But was in the now transmitted 2008 Christmas Special and four other DW Specials to be shown in 2009.

David is filming (if he's alright after his back injury) the four specials that will screen this year, first transmitting easter(ish), 2x written by Russell T Davies and 2x written co-written with Russell.

As you now know the 11th Doctor will be Matt Smith.

yes i did some studying of my own...after i heard some of this stuff and as sad as it makes me feel...he is leaving...but at least we will see him in the DW specials....i personaly think he was one of the best Doctors we have had...if not the best...and i will miss him...but he had a good run and i had fun following his walk...and yes i do know who the new Doctor will be and even if he is wonderful he will not replace him. thanks...:D

ROSE TYLER'S STORY IS OVER. I am so SICK of people wishing for her back. There is no way she will be returning, and if she does, it'll be a very lousy story. Milking a dry cow. Besides, I seriously doubt she could work out a relationship with the DoctorDonna, for the simple reason that he's not the real Doctor. Knowing Rose, she'd never settle. She should've stuck with Mick. Ourney's End was just a screwed up story on so many points. They should've given Donna a better sendoff.

I have to agree that some points were a bit odd. I don't think she'll be totally committed to the DoctorDonna. Not yet. I didn't have cable; I am waiting on Netflix for season 3, but there is a "long wait" on disc one. It is $84.00 to buy season 3 at Best Buy, so I am waiting. I may skip the first disc and go to the 2nd disc. I am so excited!!

David Tennet makes a pretty great Doctor and it will be interesting to see how he moves on without Rose.

On a total side note, I heard Billie Piper is doing a 3 episode stint next season, so that should be interesting to see.
