Incredible. To watch eight minutes of commentary in a language I do not understand and yet to feel what these men felt. There is something about Senna that transcends cultures or languages ...
..we do not forget Ayrton Senna who died in his 161th race! We also do not forget the deadly crash from rookie Roland Ratzenberger ONE DAY BEFORE -starting his F1-career.. Chanceless, loosing his car with broken fronspoiler, 300km/h coming from Villenueve-right, crashing and slipping the borderwall until the car stopped at Tosa-Turn (!).. :-//
@PlayItSave everyone all over the world feels and is moved by Ayrton's death, however the guy who died before hand never had a chance to do even a tenth of what Ayrton had accomplished
Who ever agrees with this please message me and add me as a friend . Ayrton Senna is by far the greatest driver period !. No one comes close , He was also extremely intelligant and humble man ..may he rest in peace..
But as one of the people involved with motor sports, I must accept his death. And as Schumacher mentioned, in spite of the fact , formula one races will go on. So two weeks later, Monaco Grand Prix will be held. Though Senna is not there, the race will go on.

The brazilian people need to respect Japan Nation, because the Japan Nation is very similiar to Brazilian Nation, both has a Big heart !!! And we lost a big hero !!
in fact, Senna was Brazilian but nationality is not important. there is no legendary F1 driver like Ayrton Senna in the F1 history, even if someone break his record.
I always liked Japanese F1 commentary 'cause how much they got into it- they're passionate, really dig it. . .It's funny as hell. . .lol
but this commentary shows how respectful they are as well- Its moving. True human emotion. Sure, most of us out there can't understand them, but we don't have too. . .
Very emotional and touching! the Japanese loved him as much as the Brasilians! One of the very strange things about Ayrton's last moments is that he took off his helmet which he actually never did - but WHY that day!? Many mysteries are there and no answers til today - what really happened that fateful day - will we ever get to know the TRUTH!?
A very emotional video. I would like to know what they were saying.. if some japanese guy could translate it to us, it would be great. Thanks Japan. Miss you, Ayrton! We'll love you forever! PEACE!
They are Formula1 reporters worked at FUJI television in JAPAN.The right man one of most famous F1 commentators said "Today was 161th races for Senna. He has been fighting races since 1987.We must accept his death. And Formula1 must continue to persist forever. The left man said "I have no words to express my gratitude.I pray for the souls of Senna."The center man said"I feel that Japanese F1 has lost popularity was forced Senna.Japanese loved him maybe more than Brazilians.
@kityareru arigato gozaimasu... if I could back in time I would like to watch every single F1 race on sunday with this legend guy... miss him so much. but God knows what he does. peace out!
forgive me for mentioning this, but I think that ayrton senna would want to be remembered for the correct amount of time he was in formula 1, which started in 1984 in a career spanning 10 years before that fateful moment.
I'm from Brazil and I remember that day as one of the most sad moments I've ever experienced in my life, we lost our nacional hero, not only a nacional hero, but a worldwide legend actually, Senna is loved in Japan, he was the Honda guy in McLaren times! Thank u Japan! Thank u for sharing this pain with us! I'm so sorry we have no longer Japanese teams in Formula One anymore but I'm sure you're gonna get over this harsh times and will be back again soon! Kobayashi rules! Best of luck for him!
Japanese writing is so beautiful to the eye..I only wish I could understand it too.......? Ho hum! This video is very moving & it's a revelation to see these guys showing their emotion so freely whilst having to announce the death of Senna..it's with the utmost respect..crying is the brave thing to do in such an awful situation..I bet Murray cried lots away from the cameras incidentally..
I think Senna was very fond of his Japanese colleagues and fans too. He's especially playful when he's around them. He was on this Japanese variety show, the hosts are pretty silly sometimes, and he just went along with it. I've never seen him like this with the international media.
Yes Ayrton a true Samurai, thank you Ayrton to have a great inspiration in peoples lives from all over the world, you were simply sent to us here on earth for a reason, a great reason and you acomplished all great things , you was a king of kings!!!! i know you are in a better place my brother god bless you Ayrton !!!!
Moving and truly heartfelt reporting from 三宅, 今宮 and 川井 . I still remember seeing this and the profound impact that Senna's death had on F1 in Japan. Thanks for posting.
You can be sure that japanese reporters feel for drivers on every live event not only if they are injured or died. They are the most honest and fearful reporters global. Senna was a hero for the japanese, and senna spent a lot of time with also on honda events. I respect this guys! Yeah subtitles!
Race scene: As you can see, Ferrari crew has prepared fuel and tires exchange. Berger settled 1m25s on last lap!! Only he set the fast pace like this.
Mr. Miyake, He is announcer on this TV; I'm sorry for intervening TV program again. I must tell you very disappointing news. Senna, I wanted him to fight his severe injury, has passed away. I don't know how to tell you sad news like this.
Mr. Kawai, he is also famous motor journalist; At 6:03, Dr. Antonio Darmonte who works at Maggiore hospital announced that Senna's brain stopped its function.
Miyake; As the information we had had before, we had known Senna had sever injury at his forehead and the back of the head.
Kawai; Yep, and around here, neck retaining. I don't have the vocabulary.
Miyake; Yes, I think there are many kinds of nerves around there. Senna also got damage there. Staffs in the ICU had continued the treatment to revive him with artificial life support. However, at 6:03, about 15 minutes ago, I regret to say that Senna has passed away. Mr. Imamiya, unless Senna, F1 couldn't become popular sport like this in Japan?
Imamiya; Yes, I agree. This was 161st race for him. Well... Since 1987, along with Mr. Nakajima... We are in motor sports... We must accept sad incident like this. So, we must concentrate to participate in races. These thoughts made me keep talking to you as usual after the accident. However, honestly speaking, sorry, when I had watched the accident, I couldn't have kept my mind as usual. But we, in paticular, people work at motor racing like me, must accept this fact.
Imamiya; As Schumacher mentioned that the facts like this make motor sports run. So, although next race is Monaco GP and Senna isn't there, F1 will keep running.
Miyake; While we are talking to you now, teams are working for next GP or test When Mr. Kawai received this news, I think you felt and thought many things. It's shame for me to interview you about him, although you are in deeply sadness. You had really good friendship with Senna. I think you had much conversation with him.
Kawai; Yes, today I talked some words to him. Well, I want to appreciate the performances and something marvelous he showed us. It's all my feeling.
Miyake; Particularly, after Ratzenberger's accident, Senna got nervous so much.
Kawai; Yep, his face showed me something hesitating to do race. But he chose to participate this race and his choice caused this result. But only I can do is to appreciate everything he had gave me. I just wish he would passed away peacefully.
Miyake; Yes, all we can do is to pray his soul may rest in peace. And we want to apologize you to show you disturbed us. Mr. Imamiya, as Mr. Kawai and you remarked, the loss of Senna makes me think that his achievements not only the number of his records are very special.
Imamiya; I can't still believe his death. But I want Schumacher representing new generation to develop F1 from now on. I think it's is the most effective repayment of his kindness and achievements.

I always liked Japanese F1 commentary 'cause how much they got into it- they're passionate, really dig it. . .It's funny as hell. . .lol
but this commentary shows how respectful they are as well- Its moving. True human emotion. Sure, most of us out there can't understand them, but we don't have too. . .
My respect to Japan.

They are Formula1 reporters worked at FUJI television in JAPAN.The right man one of most famous F1 commentators said "Today was 161th races for Senna. He has been fighting races since 1987.We must accept his death. And Formula1 must continue to persist forever. The left man said "I have no words to express my gratitude.I pray for the souls of Senna."The center man said"I feel that Japanese F1 has lost popularity was forced Senna.Japanese loved him maybe more than Brazilians.

forgive me for mentioning this, but I think that ayrton senna would want to be remembered for the correct amount of time he was in formula 1, which started in 1984 in a career spanning 10 years before that fateful moment.

Mr. Imamiya, he is motor jounalist; Yes.
Miyake; Mr. Kawai has come back here.
calrobroschi 2 years ago 5
I don't have the vocabulary.
calrobroschi 2 years ago 6
Miyake; Yes, I think there are many kinds of nerves around there. Senna also got damage there. Staffs in the ICU had continued the treatment to revive him with artificial life support. However, at 6:03, about 15 minutes ago, I regret to say that Senna has passed away. Mr. Imamiya, unless Senna, F1 couldn't become popular sport like this in Japan?
calrobroschi 2 years ago 5
Imamiya; Yes, I agree. This was 161st race for him. Well... Since 1987, along with Mr. Nakajima... We are in motor sports... We must accept sad incident like this. So, we must concentrate to participate in races. These thoughts made me keep talking to you as usual after the accident. However, honestly speaking, sorry, when I had watched the accident, I couldn't have kept my mind as usual. But we, in paticular, people work at motor racing like me, must accept this fact.
calrobroschi 2 years ago 6
Imamiya; As Schumacher mentioned that the facts like this make motor sports run. So, although next race is Monaco GP and Senna isn't there, F1 will keep running.
Miyake; While we are talking to you now, teams are working for next GP or test When Mr. Kawai received this news, I think you felt and thought many things. It's shame for me to interview you about him, although you are in deeply sadness. You had really good friendship with Senna. I think you had much conversation with him.
calrobroschi 2 years ago 6
Kawai; Yes, today I talked some words to him. Well, I want to appreciate the performances and something marvelous he showed us. It's all my feeling.
Miyake; Particularly, after Ratzenberger's accident, Senna got nervous so much.
Kawai; Yep, his face showed me something hesitating to do race. But he chose to participate this race and his choice caused this result. But only I can do is to appreciate everything he had gave me. I just wish he would passed away peacefully.
calrobroschi 2 years ago 7
Miyake; Yes, all we can do is to pray his soul may rest in peace. And we want to apologize you to show you disturbed us. Mr. Imamiya, as Mr. Kawai and you remarked, the loss of Senna makes me think that his achievements not only the number of his records are very special.
Imamiya; I can't still believe his death. But I want Schumacher representing new generation to develop F1 from now on. I think it's is the most effective repayment of his kindness and achievements.
