alright im having problems i have a bike and just started the wheelies im not a big stunt man or anything but the longest ive done a wheelie is 4 secs lol and im scared to go back more on the throttle becuz idk whats going to really happen.. i did it once and the bike shot up and it scared the shit outta me lol if anyone knows let me know how the fuck u do it... weird part is i can do it fine on dirtbikes...lol idk man mine has alot of power i cant control when it comes to wheelies..

man.. I have trouble getting my front wheel up on my SV650, it is an 02 model but I've seen people get the wheel up off the clutch.. any tips? I think it might be a problem with how I release the clutch, my bike just seems to jerk forward.

an 02 SV650 should be able to do a small power wheelie in first (im not sure about others i dont own the bike my friend does its an 02) I dont know what gear your trying to pop the wheel up in but it sounds like you have it geared up to high where it doesnt have the torque it needs, try a lower gear and dont just "drop" the clutch, use more throttle, if you keep on just dropping the clutch one day you could end up on your back with a 400lb bike on top of you but i cant see what ur doing

right on , most were weak. But, the dude on the GSXR had it going on. If you get a chance look up Doug (the wheelie king ) Domokos. Doug is no longer with us ( died in airplane crash )and watching Kevin Schwantz powering out of a corner was simply Beautiful, GODSPEED

nice video and yeah davidoPi666 your so right about the svs.....if the bike doesnt go bang the fork seals will(mine did) or the gearbox.....the bike is ok to start with bt it really cant take the abuse....dam budget bikes lol.....i did the same and brought a new K4 gixser....best move i ever did....wheelies are a breeze now.few svs videos on my profile of me on mine.2nd gear 30mph and pop the clutch and the sv will rise like a dream

Just roll along in first around 15 mph, pull the clutch in, give a little blip and drop the clutch while holding the throttle open. You'll shit yourself the first time but more than likely you'll only go up a foot at most.

Just go slow with it and take your time. Nobody ever won any prizes for crashing.

Alright, thanks for the tip. What exactly do you mean when you say "it will go bang" ? Because of the wet sump on SV's, I've heard that they are starved for oil during wheelies. Is this what you're talking about?

On the SV650S, are you doing those wheelies in 1st or 2nd gear? Power wheelie or slipping the clutch? I ask because I've just started doing wheelies on my SV and haven't found a preferred way of doing them. The wheelies with the SV look real smooth. Nice video.
