@bonusbmusic I have not had a chance to look at the 1824 but a friend of mine had one and he told me of one additional thing and that was di-essing, takes the hisses out of Ss. He also had the ability to hook a monitor and mouse which was a great help for not wearing out the buttons and for other people to see where you are at in the song. I am using a new mac with garage band and switching between the two. with the mac I have a 22 inch screen.
Sorry man, but: Are you on drugs ? I can't listen to you for more then one minute, you're a talking sleeping pill. Why don't you write down, what you want to say BEFORE you start taa a a aa a alkkkkking ? Even if there was any essential information in this vid, I wouldn't get it, because I am overcome by some sort of drooly drowsyness, some sticky, sloooooowly ya a a wnn.........

Can you do a video on how to upgrade the vs1680 midi files. I have the workstation upgrade disk. I want to update files 1-16midi files so I can operate the next external burner. I need to hook up to my computer and install the disk and run the update through a midi connection. Help
Man I got the vs2000 Ive had it for 4yrs now its great, Ive had to replace the hard drive twice though. I became so familiar with its functions that it was worth every penny. I also have the same sony burner. I burn the same...1 song at a time, I never use the VS to burn. you have to bounce all your tracks to two tracks just to burn, I use the rca jacks from the output of the VS, straight in the back of the burner to the inputs. Do you know of a better way... or better cables vs rca's???
If you have either a built in CD burner or the companion CD burner that plugs in the 25 pin in the back you can mix each song in the mastering room. Make sure to mix them in the order you want them to be on the CD. When in the mastering room before recording onto the master tracks (tracks 17&18 virtual tracks 16), make sure to have CDRRecMode on and Track Marker on and leave at least 4 seconds between songs.
Hey ... You definately seem knowledgeable about the 1880. Can you tell me, or show me, how to align the timing of two tracks ?
