FYI always remove the battery first...before starting repairs..

tools...buy some metric screwdrivers size 0 and 1.

don't try using standard screwdrivers or you might strip the screws.

hi, my screen turns black temporarly, and sometimes lines across my screen, and sometmes black and lines, I do move the screen up and down to get the screen normal and I do but for minutes and not clear and when I turn the computer off or move the screen it get back blk or lines across it, can you please tell me how to fix it.

wow that asian gurl is hot...hey well i got the same prob...no lines just that i notice only on utube it blacks out freezes or continues playing sounds etc. sometimes i sleep it then wake it and it works other times that doesnt do squat i fixed that annoying Volum OSD thing tho in the pavilion series run msconfig and disable osd DONT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE THO...do that if ur volume osd slows ur pc down. im guna look for some drivers to see if that fixes this(says driver issue).

ugh.. i just went through that but worse. i had two laptops, one with a broked screen one without. i had to unscrew the bottom, back and then pop open the top part and unscrew the hingest thinking i was goin to replace the whole thing and then i realised the screen casing on the other laptop was broken so i had to get the actual lcd out and.... it was just a huge hassle then i had to reassemmble all the mistaked i made wich made it 10x harder...
