  • I have never seen this before, Nice!

  • Betty was the first person i saw live on stage in South Africa in the city Hall and this song has always stuck in my mind i think it is cause of the words, my aunt took me to her show and got to say we really enjoyed it. love this music still my kids even like it and they in the their 20's now

  • @nooky1100 I'm proud to say that my brother and his band was the opening act for that show. That time they had Ronnie Joyce as their lead vocals. I met the group backstage at the three arts theatre.

  • @Biajam100 oh wow kewl. would have been kewl to have done that

  • I was starting high school in 1975 those were the best years ever these kids will never know the good music that came out of the 70's unless they see it on youtube or watch soultrain videos.

  • @danielle1961 unless they had parents that kept the "needle" down & the volume all the way up! lmao i am a 74 baby so i had them parents, aunts, uncles, & even grandparents. my dad use to tell me i was conceived off the O'jays! lol and when i was still in the womb he would sing or play them just so i would settle down. guess that's why i like them so much

  • same here i love these jams they have so much meaning and no bad words..lol

  • I Believe This Was A Video Clip From The 144th Edition Of "Soul Train" On June 14, 1975.

  • beautiful music, beautiful people, God, what the youngsters are missing. We had the best of soul. And it was embedded in our hearts and souls. No cussing, no fighting, pure love.

  • @Rustee50

^^^^^5!!!!!!! Yep, we did have the BEST of S-O-U-L! And would not trade the experience for the world. The sista can "SANG!"

  • this song's so sweet :)

  • Lovin that hair betty girlll!!!!

  • I remember when i was a kid and i had a natural. It's so funny now when i look back at those pictures, i just laugh and say " Damn my fro was lopsided." LOL

  • @therealraybaby - A Natural? I haven't heard that term since it stopped being used! Youngins try to understand 'this thing' we had. The music was natural, the hair was called a natural, and we flowed naturally when we danced! Shucks... this is when we were wearing Foot Joy Shoes, Gabardine Pants, and Banlon shirts!

  • I love you, baby

I love you and I know it

And I aint too proud to show it

    Cause I love you, baby

    And I need you, baby

I want you, my love, my love

  • A very classic song!

  • Those were the days, Soul Train

  • The NuSkool is absolute rubbish, this is what I call music. There's nothing like the 70s and 80's music

  • look at those dancers lol
