AWESOME!! my parents taped this when i was a child and i even brought this VHS to my home and show it to my kids now...all this time i never knew "Thriller" was at the start! Apparently my dad(he did most of the recording) didnt start taping this special when it actually came on...Awesome video and great quality too, especially being from an old tape!!

Was the Magic Mirror sequence reused from a 1978 WWOD show called "Disney's Greatest Villians".

June Foray didn't do any Disney voices until the 1980's with Gummi Bears and Ducktales.

@heine71 No, it was new for this special. The Magic Mirror in that special was played by Hans Conried, here he's played by Jeffrey Jones.

Your second bit of info isn't correct *at all*...she voiced Witch Hazel in the 1952 Donald Duck short "Trick Or Treat". She also portrayed Lucifer's vocalizations in Cinderella, a mermaid and one of the lost boys in Peter Pan and Daisy in one of the later Donald Duck shorts.

June Foray also voiced a witch in several Bugs Bunny cartoons produced for Warner Brothers. NOT the same character.

@realar Chuck Jones essentially ripped the character off. The first Warner "Witch Hazel" cartoon was released two years after Disney's.

The actual name "Witch Hazel" is derived from the name of a plant. I don't really think it's something you can copyright.

When I was a little, little kid - no more than 5 or 6 - I had a copy of this recorded from TV and watched it constantly. One of my earliest and fondest childhood memories, and probably influenced my musical tastes, too!. Thanks for uploading!

I remember seeing this a looong time ago. There for a while I think they reran specials, or maybe I saw it on vhs. Either way Disney isn't what it used to be. They have a couple cute shows but its not the same fun and magic. I'm more and more disappointed every year with what they classify as Halloween movies during the month of October. I been working on restoring DTV for over a week now and i have finally completed it. Almost all the songs are redone so they sound better and some of the clips and are clearer too especially the ghostbusters one, plus i extended the length of it from 45 min to 61 min because i added some awsome halloween shorts to it.
