Totally love what you've done to your bike, it looks great! But I would say that because I've got the 4.5 gal tank waiting to be fitted. I like long rides too, so the peanut is just not practical. And I was thinking about the ape bars and sprung seat too, now that I've seen them, reckon I'm going to have to go for it. And I'm also waiting for my Lick's solo bag (in brown) to show up - sorry! Good thing I'm in the UK, no chance of us parking up next to each other! :o)

WOW all the hate and discontent...it's chads bike if wants hot pink leather seats it's his call. The bike looks good dude, not I don't ride another Harley...rallies are too flooded with them. I can appreciate effort made to make a bike suitable to the riders needs and keeping it looking just right and not over the top. I ride a Triumph not much of an aftermarket for it but she stands on her own at rallies.

@exabichay - I'm not sure why you feel the need to make ass fuck comments about other peoples preferences, and I don't really care. I love the 48', the looks kick ass. The straight bars killed my back (i broke it on the Isle of Mann TT race in 2000), so I put on the Apes. I like long rides, hence the 4.5gal tank. I like the looks peanut tank better too, I just don't like thinking about where the next gas station is. I don't like chrome, hence the black short shots. The spring seat sucks...

I like it, you don't, so don't ride it. If I were on my first bike, like you, I'd probably be nervous to play with the looks too. It's ok son, once you've grasped the idea that you don't have to be like Harley-Davidson tells you, you'll see where I'm coming from. Truthfully, I like the look of the "Peanut Tank" better. But, since you only get about 60 miles out of a tank, I went with the larger one. The upside is that its 2 bolts, a quick connect fitting and five minutes to change out the tank. So, I ride with the "Peanut" around town and swap to the 4.5 for longer rides. I assume that you wouldn't think of function opposed to fashion, being an idiot and all. But, that's cool. I'll stick to bikes, you stick to skinny jeans and Emo haircuts. :)
