Sorry if I struck a nerve but Journey is continuing to SELL OUT concerts in 2008, 2009 onwards and it is because of the new guy not the old guy. The new videos in Europe is EVIDENCE of that. Like I said it is your loss if u ignore the NEW Journey lineup, the past is HISTORY, the present is a GIFT and the future of Journey is BRIGHT. And they are gaining more new fans from the current generation.

Steve Perry is a great singer , but sad to say he is no longer the same vocalist. This guy brings fresh boost of adrenaline to the band. And he is no slouch either. Let's give where credit's due. The new JOURNEY fans are here to support them all over the world. For the oldies who are diehard over Perry, just listen to you old vinyls and go to sleep. We will rock wih this band forever!

Keep on rockin to a cover band! It's amazing people are so quick to dismiss Steve Perry. Guess who wrote the songs your rockin to?? Steve Perry is where the talent was.

I'm sure he is sitting back getting a good laugh about this, and collecting nice royalty checks.

It's pretty sad the the original members can only be successful if they can find a guy that sounds just like Steve. They were so quick to dismiss his contributions, but in the end couldn't do a damm thing without his voice. So they got a copy cat.

actually they rerecorded the songs so steve is no longer getting royalties for the records. Songwriting yes, but not recording royalties. Steve has written his own history and Journey has moved on with a much better singer than steve could ever be right now. Thats why steve doesn't sing anymore.. because he can't.

JOURNEY's music is timeless. All of band members are excellent in what they do. ARNEL's addition is magic...it's the second coming for this band. They are awesome to watch live...they have a very classy rock sound which complements ARNEL's powerful & versatile voice.

Just came back from a Journey concert and what a let down. I was so excited to go and see them. I was actually bored. The band had no energy and looked like they just wanted to get it over with. The new singer tried his best but just not the same. Played for about an hour,people were leaving half way through the show. Band came back for the encore and did one song.
