  • wheres this guys ?

  • I hate dry ski slopes, they take about 10 minutes to get to the top and then about 30 seconds to get down... Also, they are probably more easier than a green slope (i know thats not possible but still...), howvever theyre pretty good for learners but its about 0.00000009 x as good as the real thing...

  • haha thats funny

  • ghettoooo!

  • ....people pay money to do this?

  • OMG - I'm actually with the star of this video right now.....

This is the best thing I've ever seen. Ever.

How's that Hannah, will that do?

  • for some rason this vid makes me deprest.

  • @untamed55 your not alone..

  • i agree with both the top comments even though they are controversal but i love skiing in the winter by myself. getting to go as fast as i want with nothing stopping me. and if you feel on tht stuff it must seriously hurt!

  • i only snowboard but still just wondering

  • does anybody ski and snowboard

  • DID YOU KNOW: they acctually close these down when it snows because "health and safety" stupid right.

  • OMG, this looks sooooooo sad... Now, where is my longboard..?

  • defiantly thought people only used those for park skiing..

  • Did you hear George Of The Jungle at 0:16 ?

  • where is it????

  • iv seen some comments below about how it takes time on dry slope yeah it probably does but not aslong as snow.. the foreign slopes are not just puff powder theres ice.. ice is what the proper professional races are on, dry slope is a different thing mastering skiing on ice is tricky and is often why theres so many crashing because its hard to get grip

  • that brings back so many memories from when i was learing there i go there almost every easter and october hollidays i now freestyle snowbord and that so do fun like learing to ski!! =]

  • WTF XD, people are idiots... a dry ski slope? come on... you need snow man. i wouldent even bother trashing my board on that shit

  • @hillbilly6767 this is in south wales .... there is no snow ever , would you rarther not ever board or settle for dry slope ?

  • whar is that

  • @stifftaco1 pembrey in Llanelli south wales

  • snow in winter, dry ski slope in summer. what's the problem? why criticize everything new and creative? as if this thing would stop the snow from falling... or and by the way, what makes the air unfresh for those who enjoy this thing?

  • @LeticiaKate76 Because skiing isnt just skiing. Skiing is the being on the mountain looking down the beautiful slopes ready to shred the park to pieces on a SNOWBOARD or SKIIS. Skiing and snowboarding is also about friends and having fun, eating on restaurants on the top of the mountains and throwing snowballs down the mountain... lol.

  • @LeticiaKate76 just my word and what wrong with less people on the mountain^^ that just means more speed and less on the slopes^^ and less in ques for the lifts^^ win win ^^

  • @LeticiaKate76 this isnt new nor creative, im sure he doesnt criticize everything "new and creative" , who the hell said anything about snow not falling?, and and usually air in areas that dont recieve snow can be humid or dry, air in mountain just seems more pleasing to breathe. im guessing youve never been out of state and have no idea what beautiful really is. your idea must be...this shitty excuse for a ski slope.

  • this is the best way to learn

    and btw to all haters

if u can ski here u can ski on snow

but if u can only ski on snow, ur a beginner on plastic

it takes a lot more skill to ski on plastic than on snow :)

  • @Cunelito agreed, I learn't on Dendex and yeah it certainly hurts when you fall but it is the best surface to learn on

  • @Cunelito

so true,i hear so many "domers" say that dry slope is shit and desperate, yet people that learn at the dome or on a snow holiday cant do a clean run down a dry slope, i learnt on dryslope way back in 96 and have been riding them since, im all for dry slope i also think its the best way to learn and the only real snow dome we had then was the opening of tamworth

  • @Thepinup1 People forget that its actualy harder to ski/board on the dry and that many who have learned on powder can't link turns on dry. Im not saying it's better but as a training tool it certainly has its place.

  • ...pretty desperate kids...

  • if you can carve on this stuff the people are not showing it ill just stick to real snowskiing

  • do yourself a favour, save up big time and go on a real skiing holiday on real snow, up in the mountains, fresh air, open and beautiful scenery, chair lifts, etc.

  • @beastdude new to skiing, want to learn while your saving up. Not everyone can afford that because a shit load of people are house poor. (Buy big houses but don't have extra money to save up.)

  • @beastdude

    In the summer?

  • @boudiemaster sure why not.

  • So how hard is it to carve? Can one an expert go down using the small turns and carves?

  • Look up he definition of carving and you'll see. You cannot carve on this surface.

  • u can carve on this stuff but doesnt do ur edges any good they probaly need sharpening every 10 runs if u slalom like my son at glocester school race, he messed up at the end but he can carve on this stuff

  • The people skiing in this video make me laugh.

The skiing instructors must have told them all "to stop, make your ski's into a pizza slice shape"

    LMAO

  • @nick4paokara lol, pizza, french fry, pizza, french fry :P

  • chillfactor manchester go there

  • i raced try and snow! Snow better, i had 89" angle on dry and edges so sharp u sliced your skin on them, on the dry they only lastred one hard run until i needed to re-sharpen them. You can carve on dry but its hard as you slide out a lot! stuick with snow lol!

  • i live in canada and i cant image no snow in the winter that would suck.....but your country is really pretty i would like to try dry slops but i like my snow better aha

  • yay canada :)

  • me2

  • yer dry slopes are ok but snow is much better as it dont hurt as much as dry slopes when u fall lol it really hurts when u fall on a dry slope

  • a dry ski slope is in between ice and wet sludgey snow

  • do you know wat a dry slope is made of? because its not between sludgey snow or ice its like lots of litle plastic bristles but together then formed into a big pattern then the patterns into an even bigger patern to form the slope so realy u cant tel if its inbetween sludge snow or ice as its a diffrent texture full stpop

  • its not its a material caled dendex like the stuff on toothbrushes and other stuff its shaped in diomonds

  • i meant to ski or snowboard on sorry ( the same type of surface i forgot to put it in

  • pembry slpoe rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • wouldnt that wreck your snowboard or skii

  • it scrathes the fuck out of them

  • can you carve on that shit

  • its possible but its hard and dosent do your skis any good

  • pemprey ski slopes lmao ive been there

  • Sheffield ski village is a moutain compared to that, type it in, its europes largest artificial ski slope

  • is that place in wales i think ive been there ?

  • it's like the real snow?

  • no its wank and hurts like hell if u fall

  • nice work. learn to parallel turn (Y) its good
