I'v had my 30L biorb for a week now and I have added 2 fish. The tank has misted up a lil, it looks like a very fine cloud. Is this common and how do i make the water clear again?
better off with cold water in a baby biorb i recommend as it is very hard to keep trophical fish in it. I do recommend buying the tank if you are getting fish.
good choice you wont regret it. Also the Stones that comes with the baby biOrb are crap get rid of them, it says in the instructions you need them, you don't i have changed my stones from horrible crappy stones to nice beatiful pea sized dark blue pepels. Also their are some beatiful cold water fish out their, i would recommend. Crowntail siamesse fighter(male as they are much prettier) blue neon tetra's and well...just have a look at my videos and take a look. :)
The "stones" included are specifically designed for Biorbs. They are a ceramic material covered with air pockets. The air pockets increase the surface area on which nitrifying bacteria that process fish waste reside. The charcoal filter provides mechanical and chemical filtration; the sintered ceramic stones provide biological filtration. Removal of the stones will cause the tank to become toxic and polluted much more quickly. I wouldn't do it.

the stones are crap and ugly for start also i got new ceramic stones and i do a water change every week end so it stays clear and perfect condition for fish.
I don't mind the ceramic rocks. I also wouldn't recommend a complete H2O change every week, as again, that upsets the bacterial flora intended to maintain an organic balance. But hey, to each his own tank.
agreed, only a waster with no job, no life and no clue would completely change the water every week on a saturday night, and then have the front to post dumbass comments. lol, what a chump-child.
dont get a betta.....they Do need tropical water...theyll live shorter and less active in a coldwater with alot more risk of disease-im not an expert but i wudnt du that....get a small school of white cloud mountain minnows...ther easy to care for, live in a range of temperatures...look them up....when healthy there quite entertaining...i set up this profile to annoy all those ppl hu go off the wall at other peoples comments....bt just thot id help:-D

where did you get the decoration that's around the bubble tube? I really want something like that!

Note to biorbers: You can cement fake corals etc, to the air lift tube.
Cement being something like AquaStik or whatever.

i piss in my tank to add a slight yellow tint, the fish also enjoy the minerals from my waste... I highly advice this to all fish.
