Try putting the gas from a lighter on a bottle next time and light it up. DON`T PUT much, it ignites and burns very fast. But it looks cool. Also, try squeezing the bottle a little and let off, sometimes it sucks the flame in and it gets blue`ish and looks quite cool.

the best thing to do is fill a 2ltr bottle with deodorant like what you did ,stuff a paper fuse in n tape it tight to the bottle light it and after a minute or so (maybe less) stamp on it. It makes one hell of a fire ball so make sure the area in front of the bottle neck is clear!!!
