  • ill trade in my girlfriend for that !

  • Great video, but why just the One tiny blip of throttle??!!

  • was it loud with stock exhaust?

  • was terrified of this being a waste of time when the music came on, but I'm so grateful that it went away again. thanks for the vid.

  • Looks like a commercial.

  • Love the bike, excellent sound!

  • kick ass camera (getting one) and heavenly bike also getting this summer

  • is it titanium manifolds or stainless steel manifold with carbon fiber pipes?

could i ask you how much you paid for the full system? and where did you get them? i want the same for my bike, but i couldn't find a trusted site.

thanks for answering my question, first :P i'd appreciate you so much!

  • @2LonelyPlanet

The manifold is stainless steel. It's definitely not titanium. Although Termignoni does sell a titanium full system, it's only the exhaust (pipes) that are titanium.

That model of the full system you should be able to find brand new for about $1,800. There is a newer type of full termignoni pipes that came out in late 2010. I bought my full system from my dealer when I bought my bike.

  • @jules771 thank you so much!, nice system by the way,i'm asking around so that i wont pay more than i have to, thanks for the information bro/sis, it is very helpful

  • @jules771 thanks this is helpful :P thanks again for your extra infos, bro, love your bike :)

  • @2LonelyPlanet

No problem! The full system is amazing, you're going to love it!!

  • Beautiful...

  • Do a vid of a ride by!

  • I know you had both full and slip on - so everyone is asking about the sound but what about POWER and TORQUE differences between the two? I mean I accidentally did a small wheelie with no mods to the exhaust at all.. What would it be like with full exhaust?

  • How do you like that steering damper??

  • @MultiBranda

It really makes a difference. Especially on NYC roads which are just horrible.

  • make more sound pls -.- 15000 !!! must sound like : " WIN WIN WIN WIN WIN " :D

  • today i was in ducati center in berlin for first time. in 2012 i will buy i 848 :)

  • Did you do an upgrade from the slip on Termis to the full exhaust system? How did you do that? Just replaced the manifolds and put the slip ons on them?

Is it much louder than just the slip ons?

Just asking that much because I got the 2011 848 Evo and I am thinking about getting the full exhaust system with the new Termignoni design... ^^

  • @Edumasta

No, the difference between the full exhaust and the slipons is a lot. You have to change the manifold pipes for the full exhaust and the ECU's are different as well.

It's not that much louder just a bit deeper sounding, the throttle response is quicker and smoother with the full exhaust.

IMO, definitely go with the full system, you'll always be wondering otherwise.

  • fantastic combination of subject and its representation! what is the lens you'd used? btw colour correction is awesome

  • @samoahbay

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I used a Canon 24-105mm IS lens on a Canon 5d MKII

  • @samoahbay

Thanks, I used the Canon 5D MKII with the 24-105 IS lens.

  • i hate the part at 1:18

  • Great video mate ! I have only one advice - don't use the key to turn off the bike! Use the red button ! That's important if you want to keep your bike in good condition without problems connected with the electricity !

  • @TheCyrat

According to the Ducati technicians however it doesn't really make a difference, it' just a safety feature.

Thanks for the post though, you may be right over the long run.

  • I saw the title of this video, clicked on it then ran to get some paper towels before it loaded. I knew i was gonna need them.

  • @CannonRoadPilot lmao....funniest comment ever

  • is there a loop button? my finger is starting to cramp up!

  • That is a sexy bike :P

  • very very nice bike bro. love the termignoni exhaust as well. what kind of camera are you filming this on btw?

  • @ddron03

    It's a Canon 5D MKII

  • @jules771 thanks man. sorry bro i failed to see it the description

  • Amazing bike... How does the exhaust sound on the highway at 10k rpms

  • @drsnyp

sounds like a high speed blade, did it once at 125mph.

  • Japanese bikes are easy to ride and they let you ride easy... Ducatis are the other way around, they are hard to master and want to be ridden, to be controlled, you have to ride them. Not just sit on them and let it happen.

That is why I am more and more in love with this beauty... *sigh*

  • I love Ducati motorcycles, yes, they are best looking bikes in the world, with an awesome performance. But my personal preferance is inline four japanese bikes. Dont get me wrong, its all about how the bike suits you, and how you feel riding it. And as for the guy who said Japanese bikes are soulless, thats total bullshit. They all have character. Maybe you need more expirience in driving them *(we all do). For example Honda makes most friendly bikes,Yamahas are more track-friendly etc.

  • @zidane05zizo what I would recommend is a 125-250cc to start off on, then when you get bored of the bike and when your confident enough trade that sucker in then buy a Ducati ;)

  • Just love it :D

    Is it for sell? :)

  • This or Justin Bie...... Nvm, this gave me wood.....

  • what a beautiful machine.

  • in love

  • The frontview is amazing but that bike has an ugly ass .

  • @H1pH0p4LiFe you are wrong!

  • @POZDRAW

Doesn't it bother you at all that you have no clue? Lol, I bet you've never actually seen a Ducati in real life.

  • @POZDRAW

    lol, "serbia"

kinda says it all right there. maybe your boyfriend will take you for a ride on his r6 one day at 300 km/h.

Anyhow, thanks for proving me right clown, your english is about the same level as your knowledge of motorcycles.

  • @POZDRAW Ducati is for people who can afford to ride a proper bike.

  • @POZDRAW What you say is kinda right. Somebody who is able to afford himself a ferrari does probably know shit of cars, and he would probably be very rich. But that doesn't mean ferrari's and in your story ducati's aren't the best and most beautiful cars/bikes. Well that you can't afford such a bike/car doesn't mean they are shit, I'd rather tell you your one jealous little boy who has a dream of riding one. Since you are going to this site viewing ducati's.

  • @POZDRAW Obvious troll is obvious

  • @POZDRAW Hey fuckface. Have a look at how many wins Ducati has had in AMA, MogoGP, SBK, and British SBK. From 1990-2008 Ducati basically DOMINATED in SBK. /wiki/Ducati

  • @POZDRAW so in Serbia there's a lot of fucktards. I love ALL the bikes but japanese ones are totally souless, Ducati is THE bike. Not saying it 'cause i'm italian but almost..if here in Italy we have the finest pieces of machinery both in bikes and sport cars there's probably a reas. We are great with anything related to motors or engines.

Check out the MV Agusta F4, the Ducati 1198 or the good old 996(which i'm getting). Stop hatin' shit, Ducati's are the queens.

  • @POZDRAW

blasphemy!! jules771 is completely right. you obviously don't know shit about bikes, especially cuz you keep comparing "ducati" with an R6....you're comparing a brand to a model which is like comparing apples to oranges. ducati what??? be specific! yes the R6 is better than a monster, but an 1198 will spank an R6 on a track, and on a straight line...and the sound...don't even get me started on that. once you hear a ducati in real life, everything else sounds pathetic

  • @lnromandude hey hey hey, easy man! i got the s2r 1000. a monster. and i burn those little r6 while sleeping!

so please do not offend a monster ;)

  • @POZDRAW xD too good to be true =)=)=)

  • @POZDRAW anyone can afford a shitty r6 anyday! There all the same low class poor boy bikes. Ducati has class while others just show how trashy they are. Saying a r6 is better quality than Ducati is just like saying a GM vehicle is better than a Ferrari..but thats your opinion so I don't wanna argue with you about it!!!

  • @POZDRAW The 848 is the best looking bike.. and the sound is more relaxing than such a shit high frequent Ninja or Suzuki sound...

  • This must be the equivalent of a devout Christian witnessing the descent of Jesus from the heavens to tell him he will be revered in the afterlife.

  • @BusaLova

    lol, true true

  • @BusaLova Only difference is that said devout christian doesn´t get a hard on like I just got... ;)

  • @BusaLova

No, you are not delusional, this bike is real :D

  • can any ducati owner tell me how does it feel to be riding a ducati ? i'm a poor man don't have so much money to buy a super-sport bike

  • Comment removed

  • what a quality video, nikon?

  • @Kazbrunch

    Canon 5D MKII

  • @jules771 how mach does it cost mate?

  • How Much does The Petrol cost ? XD

  • putin de bordel magnifique ...

  • cant decide which one impresses me more... the bike or the video quality???

  • btw i love the rapid throttle respons

  • I heard that the ducati 848 actually has got a wet clutch... bye authentic ducati sound!!

on the other hand it has a much longer service life, improved clutch feel and quieter operation.

  • Eugene are you suggesting we all buy 125's and cruise about on them instead? Anyone who buys a brand new superbike and throws it straight on the track must be pretty well off as plastics dont come cheap, so for the people who cant afford crashing at track days where else can we ride? By the way beautifull machine my dad has a 749s with termis gorgeous machines

  • It's pretty. I love how a Ducati sounds. Almost enough to convince me to get on a bike. Hmm..

  • All supersport bikes are built for the race track. Sure they are fun to ride but they are completely impractical for street riding, people buy them to look cool.

  • it looks like a little toy at :41

  • 1:14 instant response O.o

  • Oh man, this gonna be mine by the end of this summer for sure. Nice sound, rare bike.

  • motorbikes are shit!! why would u want this when u could have a car!!

  • @Ducati620Sport your so bad at being sarcastic hahaha

  • wow cant wait to get mine.....would you recommend this bike for first timers

  • @zidane05zizo

Probably not, unless you take some lessons first. It's a brutally powerful bike and the throttle response time is immediate. Going from 0 to 60mph takes a little more than 3s.

  • @jules771 also, last question: is this bike o.k. for street use?? freeway use??

  • @hohohee1

It's more suited for the freeway

  • if you get a ducati 848, make sure to get the ''evo'' ...

  • @zidane05zizo forget it. you'll drop it and be out a couple big ones

  • @zidane05zizo lol definitely not. You're gonna crash it and it's a really expensive bike to crash. Get something a couple of years old and used

  • Noooooooooooo! don't turn it off

  • ducati... the alfa romeo of the motoringworld:

    great styling

    beautiful sounds

does have it's flaws, but the real fanatic doesn't care about them...

ducati and alfa romeo, i just love them...

it's a virus, but i'm happy to be infected by it!!!

  • @robinvanrooijen, alfa romeo, ummm........

    try ferrari.

  • @kingcrumpet

if you look @ performance certainly

  • Great video... The bike's brilliant ofcourse, but the way you filmed it made it work on youtube aswell!

  • Yamaha rules

  • where did you find this damper? i only found this here bellissimoto com BituboDampers html

But its not the same color.

    i really like yours

  • @sound3st

DO NOT buy from Bellissimoto, they are the WORST, complete ripoff, they don't even have anything in stock and you have to wait for months. I got mine from desmoworks, Anthony is a great guy and will help you out in a second if you need anything.

    desmoworks . com

  • @jules771

thx dude, i got the 2009 848. im lovin it! whrer did you come from?

  • @sound3st

I bought mine from Cliff's in CT, great people but unfortunately the business has been sold.

  • @sound3st

Desmoworks (google it, they won't let me post the link).

  • god like

  • Awesome camera, Awesome bike!

  • Nice bike! I love it!

  • :Q____________ DUDE!!!!! ....how much it cost?

  • @kapozzo39 starting price $14,000 US

  • I revisit this video once a week just to look and listen to this beautiful machine.

  • im jealous, how old are you?

  • I have the same bike, Nice to see you've gone the the small red mods. Some red Rizoma bar ends would set it off nicely.

  • This is the sexiest looking bike on the road since Ducati released the 916 back in 94. Sick. I'm very jealous.

  • omg i have bose head phones on and this sounds fucking funny!!! omg lolol

  • Absolutely stunning!!!

  • @dtcobra

This is the 2010 848, the damper didn't come standard with it. I installed a Bitubo nitrogen charged damper.

  • @jules771 please tell me how did you installed steering dumper??

  • Ducati's are pretty choice. I highly recommend buying 1 or 2 or however many you can afford.

  • enough with the close up of the exhaust tips... you might damage that precious 5d mkii and the lens.

  • WOHO!! the video qaulity is better than my vision! :D

  • WOAWO!!

What a quality movie, damn, i love it! :D:D

  • can we have a vid by drive?

  • @3vil7g3nius

Sorry, I hit a deer back in May and totaled the bike.

  • @jules771

    You are joking, right?

  • @desmodronic916

I wish, I hit it at about 50mph. Thing just bolted out in front of me.

  • @jules771 Hope you had the insurance, sorry for your Duc ...

  • Can a girl or 2 people sit on this or is it 1 person?

  • @Joel0277

Technically, it is possible for 2 people and it does come with a passenger seat and pegs but I wouldn't recommend it, it would be very uncomfortable for the passenger.

  • @jules771 Do you mean that for any bike or this one particularly?

  • @Joel0277

I just meant for the Ducati superbikes.

  • Dude, you should re shoot the video and do a fly by video. This video doesn't do much justice. I'm keen for one of these, got the cash and everything. Anyway decent video hope you upload a new video n

  • I wish they sold it in Ferrari Yellow

  • Awesome bike!! Where did you get the heat shield on the bike? and what is your key connected to?

  • @nokio2323

The carbon fiber heat shield comes with the full Termignoni exhaust that was installed on the 848.

The key just has some orange cord tied around it as a visual reminder to not leave in the ignition.

  • Damn, another great vid jules! You got any flyby vids? Searching now...

  • SO nice!!!

  • man, riding this must be better than sex!!!

  • whats the point of this video we all know what these bikes look like? Re-shoot and let us actually hear the exhaust! I want some red-line! Oh and while your at it lose the chicken strips those bikes are better than that!

  • @BunZbrownVANMAN

Considering the bike was basically brand new at the time, I wouldn't be revving it's nuts off either.

  • What cam do you use?

I think he spent about $25'000.00 for this bike with all accessoirs. I am right, ye?

  • @marino4691 Ah sorry - description - Canon 5D MKII

    :)

  • how much is a stabelizer like this one on the bike?

  • @rider2981

    The Bitubo is about $480.00

  • this bike is HOT. i envy all you guys who can afford one o these. Great ride, great vid. stay safe

  • Did you ride without steering stabelizer?

Do you think it's worth the money?

    Grtz

  • @trippinyayo I have ridden it without but I have to admit the stabilizer really helps when going over bumps in corners at higher speed.

It's a pretty specific bike to own but this is my 2nd one (totalled the first) and I still love it. A bit painful for long hauls, say anything over 250 miles at a stretch.

But the way the bike rides, the hp, the sound is very addictive.

  • @jules771 hehe I know, I nearly got the same one

Crashed my 848 last year, she will be finished in a week or so.

Can't wait much longer, she really is adictive!

  • Not sure what's sexier... The bike or the video quality :D

  • @kb2114 you're only unsure because both of them combined force you to clean out your pants if you know what I mean ;)

  • @UserNamei5 Thanks! I love it. Wish I had more time to really learn with it.
