I'm so glad that John used his favorite "beat up" strat for this song and not some flashy black thing like the Clapton strat. It just symbolizes the beatings that MJ took during his life, physically and emotionally. I dont know if that was John's intentions but it came across that way to me. Good for you Mr John Mayer. Class all the way.
