The FM 87.75 MHz feed was incidental and not intended because channel 6 analoue audio frequency is the same as 87.7 MHz on the FM dial. Video frequency is 55.25 MHz
@sycamorenick When I was a kid, my mother was deathly afraid that the TV would get hit by lightning during storms since we used a roof antenna. She made us unplug it and we could only listen to Bob McClain giving weather reports about possible tornados on 87.7.
For some reason, the music on that test pattern at the end strikes me as extremely funny, probably because it's the news music and I've only ever heard beeps over test patterns.
It's like "Hey, here's the news: you can't see it without a converter box, so we're just gonna play the news music over this 1940's-esque test pattern! Have fun 'til the static comes! :-D"
Weird hearing John Young doing voiceover announcing for an ABC station, I've always heard his voice on independent, Fox, UPN, WB, CW, and MNTV stations.

That was a bit disrespectful to go super fast with the anthem

LOVED the sign-off video, especially the montage.

So, do we not get the 87.7 feed anymore? No!

Nope! =(

Oh course not.
That frequency (87.7) is now occupied by digital data. There's no room for the old analog sound.

Wow, this is great for people like me to see who no longer live in Indiana. Thanks!
btw, is it just me or did this version of the SSB air on practically every Indianapolis station before a signoff?

There are more Indy analog sign-offs on INNewsCenter HD and one from WANE-TV Fort Wayne

Much better than the one I posted--and that's without the SSB sung by Sandi Patti, which is copyrighted.
