I loved this tour video and ...sorry but I didn't miss Lindsey. It was very refreshing not to have to listen to lindseys long drawn out songs, which I am not a big fan of anyway. Of course Lindsey was great at harmonizing with the girls and his guitar playing was good but I always skip past his songs on CDs. I thought Billy Burnett and Rick Vito sounded great and the audience loved the show. Just watch the video.
Rick Veto and Billy Burnette were talented musicians in their own right and did the best job they could when they join "Fleetwood Mac".....
But the greater problem was creatively the band was running on empty by the end of the 80's. Stevie Nicks solo career was in full bloom and Christine McVie made it clear that she no longer wanted to tour as the demands were too much.....
Imagine joining a big party after the hoopla has died and those left behind are exhausted......
I have been a Fleetwood Mac fan since the early 80's. What I see is that they needed two people on guitar and vocals JUST to replace Lindsey. Go figure...Lindsey is such a great talent that it just figures. But, Lindsey was off doing his own thing(and doing it very well, thank you) we have twice as much to love is the way I look at it. (Couldn't wait for him to join up with Fleetwood Mac again though).
@GhostTracker Rick's obviously a fine musician, but, w/o Lindsey, this group has no charisma...they just fall flat for me. You can even see it in Stevie's face. The vocals are decent, but, again, IMO, Lindsey's strong voice is badly missed in this mix. I appreciate Rick and Billy's efforts, but, especially LIVE, Lindsey is sorely missed. No energy at all in thios performance : (
The Best Album of Fleetwood Mac.... they are in the right place, time, with the maturity needed... this is a real solid gold

This was painful. A husk of a band.

Too me Stevie had more balls of steel than Lindsey

"Works hard?" i.m.o. he kicks ass! I think that's some of the best guitar playing I've ever seen, and I've seen some *really* good guitar playing! :)

Strange - I've been following F.M. for quite some time and for me, this is the "tightest" I've ever seen them. :)
