As you know, a large part of the program was developed for the order of Marc Cale, in fact in Hungary, for more than a year by a team of young mathematicians and programming geniuses, called SoftView.
System 3 took over the 85% completed game and after the finishing strokes, it was released without listing the name of the whole Hungarian team on their alleged request.
It is high time to make up for the recognition, at least...
This is the best music ever composed for any system to date. The Last Ninja was released in 1987 on the 8-bit home computers like our loved C64, and later on the Amiga & the Atari ST.
I enjoyed playing Last Ninja. It was called one of the best C64 games ever. I remember always falling in the water and mud pit (though I thought of it as lava). And, thanks to my brother, I found out how to 'kill' the dragon (though you really don't kill it). The one thing I don't understand is "What do the apples do?"

looking at that game today... looks to almost impossible that so long ago on a such "weak" platform as C64 was, we enjoyed a game like this!
Story, graphics, gameplay, weapons and most of all music are simply great... even today!

Always owning an MSX, my friends were usually
jealous because of the fantastic Konami games.
This was 1 game that I was very jealous about!
(well this and Commando Libya, Blue Max and
Katakis).
