ok so when i start drifting and turning the wheel into the corner sharply, then turn the wheel the opposite direction to level out to straighten out the car... it either starts snaking or spins out(not from to much gas "i think") or turns the opposite direction to the bend out of the corner so if its a left hand corner i end up turning right out of it. hard to explain.... dont suppose you can tell me why? is it because im using the driving force gt but it looks like your using one?

Quick question fella, do you notice the occasional "odd noise" when using your driving force gt? I don't mean the normal whining you hear from turning the wheel aggressively, but other noises when making more subtle steering inputs? NOticed a couple on mine when playing the other afternoon and although the wheel was working fine I was more aware of these noises? I would describe them as light groaning noises :-) Just wondered if anyone could put my mind at ease

ive got this car and if you get the torch sensing thing in drive train and also go to the lsd also in drive train and put all the torch on the back and the least on the front. that will turn it into a rearwheel drive car and i find it much easear to drift with a rear wheel drive car. but do not nail the gas the whole time like this guy says just nail it every second or so. and also make sure if ur online that ur tires alwayshave good grip. try this befor you junk it.

@BlurryShadow1 lol yea always a good time. iv been playing racing games and other so called sims since i was a kid, and iv been doing it for real for just as long. definitely think i learnt alot from the GT series, even if it just sub-consciously taught me good rhythm and timing, and those wheels are excellent. just dont be a pussy and drift on comfort or sports tyres for too long, move on to race tyres, it takes alot more skill to drift with good traction, because it requires speed.

If you've ever tried diving into 90 degree corners at 70km/h, with your rear tires losing traction, you'll understand that iracing is a far superior racing simulator compared to GT5. You need to try racing in real life to see for yourself what "real racing" is. After you do that, I guarantee that you'll think iracing is the superior simulator.
