The reason they speak Russian is because all of that part of Eastern Europe was once the USSR, it since then has been split up due to the fall of the Soviet Union. The countries that were USSR include Russian, Ukraine, Czechoslovakia(now, the Czech Republic,) Moldova, and other countries. All of these countries speak Russian
no vlad they weren't, they didn't get there Ns themes and ideologies till 1999 on the nechrist album was first to show that. for there older stuff before nechrist it was more slavonic paganism, nature, and ukrainian folklore they sung about.
Slava Gerojam is a song from their last album - weltanschlauung, and that is their first song in Ukrainian. It was written with Arsenij from Ukrainian RAC band Sokira Peruna.
Well, Nokturnal Mortum have 3 songs in ukrainian: "Kolyada", "Lastivka" and "Slava Gerojam". The other songs are in english and russian.
In Dub Buk's album "Idu na Vy!" there are 3 songs in russian, 4 in ukrainian + 1 instrumental. But in the "Rus Ponad Use!" ("Russia above all!") album all lyrics are in ukrainian.
He talks with some guy from Moscow about when the band was formed ('92), if they have any cd's or demos, if they wanna go on tour outside Ukraine, and the guy sais yeah if someone invites them they'll be happy to go and to spread their culture abroad.
That's the translation.
If these guys were singing in Ukrainian I would be their fan.
@nokturnalturisas You have a 2001 Oriana Music re-issue. First pressing was released in 1997 by Morbid Noizz Productions and has no NS stuff on it.

Noktunal Mortum got the idea to be NS after being friends with Rob Darken and Graveland...
Shortly after that Nokturnal Mortum changes their logo and ideals and Lucifugum tells them to basically fuck off.
