@Maximalnoob There are different models out there so it might be different for yours, but all i can remember is, create a text document & name it TIME or TIME.TXT then open the document & enter the date/time in this order 24/08/2011 18:19:00 save it & copy it to root folder of the device (first folder you see that opens up when you connect device to PC "Open folder"). Save it, record 2 videos & plug it back in & see if it worked, if it didn`t work, just keep trying it different way round.
@Maximalnoob When you done the process of copying the date stamp to the device, the first video you record will still be the same time as before, but the second video you record will update it to the text document, it usually takes 2 new recorded videos for it to update*
But as said before, if you have a different model, it might be different.
right click on your desktop, create a new *text document* name it "time" then type in the right time in this order 2011.03.25 00:05:15 Y then copy and paste the document into the root folder of the device (which is basically the first thing that shows up on your com screen when you first open up the device) it should then update the stamp. To remove the stamp, put in 2011.03.25 00:05:15 N
the Y & N is yes & no as to whether or not you want the stamp on your videos
@6Cozmik9 Price has been lowered to £19.99 that includes 4GB of memory, type in spy sunglasses - correct time/date 4GB memory in Ebay and you should find my listings as youtube doesn`t allow links to be posted here. The glasses i`m selling now has the correct Time/date/year stamp that appears on the bottom of the video.
these are great., could you tell where i can buy them or if you sold them then what ones on ebay as i notice Hong Kong sites sell for between $20 $30 thanks
@rossathome Yes you can get them from HK cheap for around $25, but having bought some from there before, the frame rate seems to drop in low light, so watch out for ones that say they can record at 640 x 480 or 1280 x 960, as they are not as smooth or as good quality as the 720 x 480 ones that record at a true 30FPS Real time.
I do still have 2 available but are not listed on ebay at the moment, but if you are interested, then just email me. Mine are priced at £25 which includes 4GB Memory card
@Maximalnoob If it doesn`t tell what video size it records in, just ask the shop if they can check the instruction manual inside the box as it should have it written in there - there is no other way to tell except for finding out if it is 720x480 or not.
I just bought it. Yes it was 720x480. thank you anyway. But one question how do I change the date? I have tried making TAG.txt
[date]
2011/08/24
12:25:00

@jasonemperor At the mall it is called Eye Glasses DVR and it doesn't tell if they are 780x480. How can I find out if it is those bad ones?
