i think the video is nice and sends out the message as well as crack up the viewer.

1. Like silentalltheseyear has mentioned, this might actually prove to cause further damage than mitigate it. Do put some thought into that.

2. I feel that the corny music, drawn effects (eg: sparking pot) & Manglish is anti-constructive to the depth of the message delivered. I'm sorry but I can't take it seriously with those in the background.

Sorry to be part of the "-ve" but i feel that the video should generate some sense of awareness while demonstrating a solution. But it didn't.

From what I see, this is a pretty good effort that is done within a very very short period of time. The video editing can improve though, but still better than my video editing skills! LOL...

Keep it up guys.. and never let any negative feedback here bring you down. Keep believing in yourself, and your work, and in time, it will prove its worth.

It was a good effort no doubt but I think the video needs a major face lift. Right now it comes off as an extremely amateur attempt. If you made it a bit more solid in structure and got some facts in it will give the presentation a more serious feel and more people will take you seriously.

Hi friends,

It's quite surprising to receive this many comments in 3days. Of course there are positives comments and negatives one as well. Just like the theory of the golden bag. Is simply impossible to please everyone and live up to everyone standard. But we proud of our achievement. More so that this is the first time we ever did video editing and stuff like that. We did have fun (Thx Shadztube) doing this video. But again, thanks for all the comments. When we go global we do better. Promise!

I personally feel this is a lousy concept of creatin d video.video should show variety of usage 2 IMPRESS ppl. I'm not impressed. mayB your friends would feel fantastic.the music background music doesn't sound pleasing but rather irritating.the video's quite fake cuz i dont c pencils flying round in uni. I oni c mechanical pencils in pencil box!the pot's so dangerous 2 me tat if sbody trips n fall,either d hand's poked bloodily n Sone'll start cursing.sorry 4 being critical.

pro: good idea for recycling project. the last part shows we'll have more greens in the future for our children. maybe u can get more actors or kids for that part . but the video is not good. too childish. its quite obvious the beginning is not ur work and just to fill in the time. please show a better standard of english from our uni. dun use slides. i believe u can do a better video that this. all the best!

Agree with rvin61. On first look it was one of those watch first 10 seconds and then skip to the next video. The idea is ok, the cast was like 5 year olds, video was ok (ending was terrible). In other words speechless and worthless.

Soil pollution by heavy metals is an environmental problem.

Do you know that the surface of the pencils include heavy metals which will pollute the soil.

I don't think that the plants will thrive after 10 years.

Seriously guys, you're from nottingham university, not some two bit twinning program!

It's a first try, now try better. here some tips.

a) Don't use slide transitions on a video. It's a video, not a presentaiton

b) Don't use fancy childish fonts.

c) Emphasize on the seriousness of the matter. Not everything is a joke.

d) If the 3d intro was all yours i'd extend on that. Now that's impressive!

e) Try multi camera shots, it's harder to edit with one cam, but the post prod quality will be better

Hi, think this is a good video :)

but perhaps you all could improve your language (and not include terms like "aiya" and "la") so that when the video is viewed by nationals from other countries they will understand the video fully.

Another idea is also to expand on this video and create a spin-off where you have a tutorial on how to make the pots :)
