  • @PhilFilth 100% agree, also don't forget about those bands that shallowly adopt themes / cliches from long dead cultures like the Norse, Gauls, ancient egyptians and babylonians, etc, thinking they are being trendy and anti-establishment.

  • nice video but the sound quilaty is a little poor

  • the best song of them

  • This song is my main inspiration for my book.... This song just rules all the relation with our religious side

  • I don't believe that this song is in latin.. Israel suffered much because of them and it is incoherent that a song like this is in that language! anyway, I like it very much!

  • @christiandolman idiotic comment dork

  • @christiandolman

No, it is indeed very coherent! This band sings a lot about Islam, Judaism and Christianity and stands for religious tolerance. THAT is, what makes this band, coming form Jerusalem, the Holy City of these three religions, so very special!

  • this song is lingua latina...

  • epic

  • yeah, seeing as israeli and other eastern languages have no latin roots, its definately latin or greek. Orphaned land is pretty out of the box. awsome song.

  • Que cancion tan excelente

  • its a beautiful song no matter what language it is...

  • this an israeli band so i think this is hebrew

  • Ignorant, it's latin

  • It's Latin, Omni, Deus, Terran, all common latin terms. Norra El Norra is in Classical Hebrew (Or Aramaic possibly, not sure because of some minor differences) but this is definitely latin.

  • terram, not "terran", and cumque, not conque... There's a lot of mistakes in lyrics. The text is from Genesis, 6...

  • @Bottengooier it begins in Latin, and switches to English. it's the latin translation of the section of Genesis being sung about-- Orphaned land are all about the unity of the three abrahamic religions, especially in this album. so they used latin here, where other songs used the Hebrew (such as in Halo Dies, which read from Genesis 6 in Hebrew).

Norra El Norra is a liturgical poem sung by sephardic Jews, its in classical Hebrew, though confusion with Aramaic is very understandable.

  • it does an israeli band, but it's not hebrew

  • it's not hebrew, i am anative hebrew speeker and this so no hebrew,

maybe latin but i'm really no sure.

they also sing in hebrew arabic turkish and so on in other songs...

  • megical

  • a section describing the three religions of Christianity in the song

  • this is LATIN, I speak spanish that is derivated from latin but is not easy to understand directly because my language have strong influence from arabic by centuries of Moor domination in Spain and influence of several other cultures

  • Wow...

  • THIS IS NICE

  • Translation, please?

  • And God looks upon the earth, and, behold, it was corruptl for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. "Make Thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch" ...The earth was corrupt before God. "Of every living thing of all flesh, two of evert sort shalt thou bring into the ark to keep them alive with thee" I've studied some latin and fwik this translation is correct...well, hope so =)
  • Thanks a lot

  • This is Latin, I speak Hebrew. It's NOT Hebrew!

  • kkeeeeeeeeeee?

  • this is not latin, is from israel

  • LOL idiot in this song they are singing in latin

  • yes, is latin!

  • THIS IS LATIN!!!

  • THIS IS SPARTA!

  • good one.

  • @SkiDesignS WHERE?!~?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!

  • this is latin??

  • Why don't you do us a favor and make better music? And are you one of the camels who got fucked by them? Bad for you, man

  • this comment is a reply to

    amohanga1

  • obvious troll is obvious

  • I really can't think of why you would think that is necessary...

  • man enough with all this hate...we all created by the same god man can we just get along....

  • Alright now this is just pure awesomeness

  • Beautiful

  • כן אחלה חברה עושים אחלה מוזיקה

  • ...And at the same time Orphaned Land are celebrating some of the best music ever: Western metal and the beautiful folk music of the East.

  • guys ))download this song in good quality. then take your headphones, close your eyes and listen to this MAGIC MASTERPIECE! but i bought also the cd!

    this music is divine!

  • That's the best advice around! :)

  • thats great

  • Finally a good metal band free from the satanic clichés:P

  • I'd like to think both of you are right. Orphaned Land are certainly beyond typical cliche metal themes and have targeted religions of the book, specifically. I sincerely think their cause is a good one. I think they are saying that the Christian, Jewish, and Muslim stories share a lot of the same themes and at the same time are paradoxically pointing out that what's been going on in the Middle East and elsewhere is the kind of behavior that warranted the wrath of God (flood). So, stop it!

  • just amazing

  • TRULY MAGICAL SONG

  • nuh' un il su kemerinin veya ark ini nasi insa ettigini anlatiyo mu sarki...incilinde "Exodus 25:10-22" bolumunde
