Now- what happens if it is a hot day and you turn the AC on while you play the radio and before you know it night falls and you need to turn the headlights on. Or it's winter and you need to turn the heater on. Any mileage left?
this is bad publicity. there are home made electric cars that aren't made from forklifts and electric golf carts. they can actualy go more than 10 miles on a charge and over 25 mph.
Electric cars are cool and functional.. however converting a small car to electric will hinder your range as the little car can only carry so much weight and remain stable. Good video :p

I want o build one I'm going to build one from scrach but the motor and control is hard to find I want to find a good good controler.
