  • i use the blade mostly for runs, though i round the corners of the razor blade to prevent them from digging in, then i alternate the blade from one side to the other, when it dulls down alittle, alternating seems to resharpen it this way. works great!

  • is a old tricks use i at lot when work on make art on human skin and ink..if you want this more handy make cutmark in rubber and place the racer in there..then u are rock,n roll all corner.S.

"take the control and have fun"

  • holy shit it's that guy from trucks thumbs up if it hit you

  • This is a brilliant tip!!! It can also be used to level the excess paint when touching up chips, but you must be gentle so that you don't remove the clear-coat around the area or pop the part you just repaired out!

For those who are having trouble understanding the dressing process, what you are doing is drawing the blade itself across the sandpaper, not the edges. This will cause the blade to "curl" backwards so that the microscopic cross section looks like this: J instead of this: |

  • How are you shaping the razor into a u shape? By just filing the two corners off?

  • Fantastic technique with the razor blade. I have always used sanding only, and had minimal success.

    Thanks again

  • great video, and great technique. Thanks

  • Very nice helpfull video thanks!

  • im trying to start customizing cars would i have to start with auto body and collision an whee do i go from there

  • Learn the basics first. Learn what you can from books, and then practice, it's the only way your gonna learn. Good luck.

  • go to BODYREPAIRSCOTLAND on google they has workers from America and the scots got on very well with them it was good networking

  • is this the guy from TRUCKS? with a semi mullet?

  • Yep, he has been on trucks even when Stacey did the show, he did most of the paint on his vehicles and stuff

  • good thinking bat man!!

    never seen that b4

  • I have used this trick for many years, it is a good trick. Be careful when using it on runs and sags because of the amount of accumulated paint, those areas take much longer to cure. These areas will shrink in time and the run/sag will seem to appear again.

  • I've seen that done to runs and sags but on a piece of dirt...looks like your carving a low spot in the clear or a divit in single.

  • Now, this guy is a craftman..I bet he has more tricks that could make a car paint job look even better...good freaking idea..I tried thia on one of my car paint jobs, and it worked better than the 1200 grit & clay bar..

  • nibb files top dollar ones to the best in conjuction with soapy liquid brill

  • you never knew who used it before or what they used it for.... damn emos
