Doing a report on this accident in my Aviation Law class, this will greatly help me in my presentation to the class. I will certainly credit you in my references. Fantastic work, thank you!
Very sad - The full investigation found that the ATR - 72s had inefficient de-icing boots on the leading wing edge. They were obviously modified and can now operate safely. ATR and Airbus are both share resources and technology. I rest my case.
So sad. Wheres the fuselage?! One of the flight attendants was starting her first day with AA eagle and she died in this crash. Joined AA eagle October 31, 1994 ended carrier with AA eagle October 31, 1994 :(
@jeroenjeroen4 He needs to get a life? Look whos talking mate. People like doing this stuff for fun and he has every right to make it and post it. If anyone needs a life here, It is you and @aaron85077
Crash was from ice build-up aft of the icing boots. It built to such a degree that it created a low pressure area aft of the ice mound. This low pressure area 'sucked' the right aileron up, forcing that wing down. Also, the pilots elected to hold at this altitude even though it had severe icing.
2 things that are troubling in this crash. Did the pilots cut the power when the plane rolled and started out of control? And the why didn't they extend the gear when it went into the dive? I know there is very little time to react but I wonder how effective it would have been? The main cause was icing and ATR redesigned the wing shortly after this crash but I still wonder if they could have recovered if they could have slowed the plane down some.
yeah-they did not properly check the tapes when they made that statement- there were a few other slight innacuracies but for the most part yours and their work is excellent-good job
ok thats very terrible accident, but the graphic of your FS its incredible, awesome! the video its really good, y put you a 10! really really good, for the 68 persons who died on board, rest in peace.
Actually I like the ATR-72. I flew one once with American Eagle (but down in the south) and it was nice. However, after this accident American Eagle removed all of them from the north.
Actually my 9/11 video was posted on 9/12 because I couldn't get it done quite in time. This is also my season premiere to Air Crash Investigation so I am hoping to release one every week or two.
Great Work!!! execept no like button :(

No problem! :) Ya, it's a good idea to do that. Same with your 9/11 video. It makes no sense to post a 9/11 video on 9/12...
