Well, then again, I also can't say "no" to Nina, so if she said she wants to go to college abroad one day, I probably wouldn't be able to stop her. I know she will have to become her own person and find her own way some day, but letting go is never easy for any parent. I'm sure your parents will start easing up on you eventually.

We can't stop her from being creative! I can't wait for you to be a dad. You're gonna love it, I can tell. Little kids are the most motivated students there are. It's a shame they sometimes become like some of the uninspired, sleepy junior high and high school kids I teach now. When they're young, all you have to do is make a stimulating safe environment for them to play in and they do the rest.

Thanks! No, Shohei and Yuri can't speak English so they speak only in Japanese. We need to find some English speaking friends for Nina to play with sometimes so she can practice her English more.
