PLEASE CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL I AM DESPERATE!!!!!!!!!!sorry about that i love what u do but please make this a top comment so atleast some people may see my channel
If I get something in my journal and want to remove it and mount it, what do you recommend?I won't be able to frame. I was thinking of mounting on foam core but with what adhesive and what overcoat? I hope you can help
You are so driven in your art work here, I am envious. That's one thing I get from Art Jounaling is that you charge in and just create, there is no right no wrong, just let yourself go. I found when I started that I was so uptight about where to put everything, and how it was centered. Not so, just play and have a great time. Thanks for sharing!
Amazing video ! I'm going to start my first journal and your videos are a truely inspiration for me !I have a question : I`m from Romania and I don`t know how to translate the gesso stuff .. can you tell me more about it ? maybe i will know how to translate it then .and another question : do you use the gesso in the cover video ? when you mix it with green and red for the roses and the backround or it is something else ? please answer ! and congratulations for your amazing videos ! Isabella
I like your ideas, if I may add. you can also use Gesso instead of white paint, some people I know think it is a cheap alternative to paint. and it does work well as a base like primer or paint.
I like the video and particulary the cat @ 1:48 :-)
yes...gesso is a baselayer tha just acts as a support for the paint on top ... it can however also be mixed with craynes etc for a chalky type paint effect :-)
This is a great video, especially for me as I'm going to start my very first art journal for my GCSE..Just wanna ask, you seem to use alot of that gesso stuff, what is it for? and what does it do anyway?
gesso is a baselayer that just acts as a support for the paint on top ... useful for making pages stronger to accept mixed media paints, also can seal porous pages so that paint wont sink in so fast .. all depends on what result is wanted :-) .. it can however also be mixed with crayons etc for a chalky type paint effect :-)
some I do some I dont...the marbeling with the straw I did not as they blend into each other...depends what effect I would like ...glad you like my work
I've actually been meaning to start a journal... but the background has always stopped me (causing many papers in my bin!) so it's great that you made a video for people like me... I'll get past the first hurdle with your help, then hopefully the next jump I can make on my own. Thanks!

The music you use for the background, it sounds like little tiny cheepy birds. Am I even close?
