Sometimes too much silence makes it hard to concentrate:) Actually when I do the prelim drawing, to figure out the storytelling, or writing the story, I can't have much music, and if so, it can't have lyrics in it. At this inking stage, it's more like driving a car, or dancing... I can't do either in silence.
dude can you please answer a couple of questions? what type of ink are you using what kind of tools are you using i am woking on a few comics of my own some for news papers the others are for little kids please i need help on this inking process it is badass respond back if you can kickass drawing by the way blows mine out of the water!
The ink I use is a mix of Dr. Martins Black Star and Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph ink. They dry nice and dark without destroying my brushes. I add a few drops of an water and ammonia mixture I made for better flow.
Your way works as well. It all get's scanned as black anyway! Just know sharpies have acid and will yellow overtime. this is bad if you want to resell your art.
Gotta turn that shit off in background! Can't think with that shit on.
